USA! USA! Don't forget the quality of life factor, and that we make pets instead of dinner out of our puppies and kitties, unlike those #2 guys..

The US has two special powers that no one else has, dollar hegemony and overwhelming military fire power. These powers have allowed us to accumulate great wealth, but it is concentrated in fewer hands than ever. That is not the full picture though, our agricultural production is outstanding and we lead in many aspects of aircraft, microprocessor design and health science.

But, we are ninth in average annual income and number one in having the greatest disparity in income between the richest and poorest members of our society. These two rankings can be traced to a deliberate propaganda program which vilifies socialism. This program has poisoned American politics. There are only two issues in politics, morality and money. Who gets what and why.

Pakistan will always be India's colostomy bag.

REIN

Figuratively speaking, Pakistan is still sitting on street corners begging for alms.

Dayum..!!!

I had no idea this was somehow turned into a Pakistan thread....

India is on the list and Pakistan is not.

Of course Pakistan isn't on the list. Pakistan is still somewhat communist. The income distribution is more equal... wealth and poverty are spread around equally compared to USA, for example, where no matter how rich the country becomes, the ordinary guy or gal seems worse off than before.

Meanwhile in India, all the wealth is held by something like 2-3 dozen family dynasties. The rest of the billion people eat dirt.

As you can see, Pakistan doesn't really believe in money:

youtu.be

This guy is moving around in the poorest part of some city and they won't take his money... LOL

Here is another one:

And another:

Err... Pakistan doesn't take it up the butt, unlike yourself. No colostomy bag will be needed later.

Pakistan is still sitting on street corners begging for alms.

Pakistan wore a suit and tie and got what it wanted.

Begging on street corners for a frak is what a MADAM and her girls would do... MADAM. LOL

What was the news recently?

Like 1% of Americans control 99% of the wealth and resources in America?

If this weren't the case, America wouldn't be starting wars for rich people to profit by. If wealth was equally distributed, America would never start a fake war (Vietnam, Iraq, future Iran).

These are "feel good" statistics (the topic of this thread). Actually, one should be horrified if you dig a little deeper.

"I sought for the greatness and genius of America in her commodious harbors and her ample rivers -- and it was not there... . in her fertile fields and bound less forests -- and it was not there... . in her rich mines and her vast world commerce -- and it was not there... . in her democratic Congress and her matchless Constitution -- and it was not there. Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great."

"America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great."

Trump is working as hard as he can on that point.

I think our President may try to make America great by means other than moral goodness...
