"I'm going to take her. She's mine," Camille announced to the women. "And there's nothing any of you can do about it." Camille woke Christa up, walked her to the black Volkswagen Beetle parked in the driveway, and drove the child to the Los Angeles Children's Home Society of California. There, she released her grip on Christa's hand and told her to go to the bathroom inside. When Christa reappeared, grasping her small teddy bear and looking for her mother, she saw the black car driving away.

Address Trump's narcissism.

Boaz.

Did you read the article?

This article is about the life of an artist.

It includes an event that happened 60 years ago, in the 1960s, when she gave up her daughter.

It also includes being reunited with her in the late 80s and a documentary about their reunion which released in 1991.

It also goes into her life as an artist and a woman.

Spoiler alert.

A decade after reuniting, the mother didn't want to be in her daughter's life and she cut communications again.

Her daughter died in 2016 of heart failure at the age of 59. What a sad life she lived. :(

Welcome to the real world Boaz. People do things and live their own lives.

We don't need your dumbaas judging anyone.

When it comes to narcissism, all you need is a mirror.

If walking away from your children is narcissism, then the African-American community has a huge problem with narcissistic young black men.

Are all Boaz posts this stupid?

What do you think will happen if your side wins and you force women to carry children to term? Hint, it won't be a miraculous lack of sex that you seem to crave.

Righties and reality. Never shall they meet.

#6,

This post isnt stupid.

This woman was just shirking her responsibility to that child. If she were going to give it up for adoption, she should have done it when it was a baby. She was selfish and self centered, lazy. Liberals are all about not doing the hard thing.

Instead of taking care of her responsibility, which she laid down with her legs open, she only thought of her "career" and her own needs instead of putting her aspirations to the side like a responsible adult would have.

She should have gotten an abortion.

No, if she wasnt ready for a child, she should have not had sex or swallowed.

It's called consequences, something liberals have been trying to get rid of the easy way.

she only thought of her "career"

Again. It helps if you actually read your article

She didn't have a career as an artist until after she abandoned her daughter.

Prior to abandoning her daughter she was looking forward to being a mother and wife. When her baby daddy abandoned her, she was left with a child she didn't want.

Funny how you have yet to comment on the lack of responsibility of the baby's daddy.

Your view of the world is beyond comical.

Get out a little more, moron. The world is nothing like you think it is.

#11 | Posted by jpw at 2019-05-21 01:33 PM | Reply

No, if she wasnt ready for a child, she should have not had sex.

The magic of abstinence, in the 1960s, where there wasn't any contraceptives and people weren't taught sexual education.

Boaz. You're a moron. Abstinence is unnatural. It's forced upon society through religious dogma. It's never actually lowered pregnancies.

You know what does? Sex education and contraceptives.

But. You're a stupid, deplorable Trumphumper.

I might as well be teaching a pigeon to play chess.

It's called consequences, something liberals have been trying to get rid of the easy way.
#9 | POSTED BY BOAZ

Actually. Thanks to liberal initiatives such as sex education and contraceptives for teenagers, teen pregnancies have fallen.

You know where teen pregnancy still rampant? Alabama.

Cause abstinence works!

"The unborn" are a convenient group of people to advocate for. They never make demands of you; they are morally uncomplicated, unlike the incarcerated, addicted, or the chronically poor; they don't resent your condescension or complain that you are not politically correct; unlike widows, they don't ask you to question patriarchy; unlike orphans, they don't need money, education, or childcare; unlike aliens, they don't bring all that racial, cultural, and religious baggage that you dislike; they allow you to feel good about yourself without any work at creating or maintaining relationships; and when they are born, you can forget about them, because they cease to be unborn. It's almost as if, by being born, they have died to you. You can love the unborn and advocate for them without substantially challenging your own wealth, power, or privilege, without re-imagining social structures, apologizing, or making reparations to anyone. They are, in short, the perfect people to love if you want to claim you love Jesus but actually dislike people who breathe.

Prisoners? Immigrants? The sick? The poor? Widows? Orphans? All the groups that are specifically mentioned in the Bible? They all get thrown under the bus for the unborn.

I posted that a couple times yesterday.

It hits the nail squarely on the head; once fetuses are born, the right and their evangelical sycophants no longer care about them.

"once fetuses are born, the right and their evangelical sycophants no longer care about them."

I wouldn't go that far, but there certainly is evidence that their desire to punish poor people for having sex is greater than their desire to treat the children they bring into the world compassionately.

Babies grow up. The right doesn't care about anyone who's actually been born. "Pro-life," my --- ...

Take Medicaid expansion, for example. Republicans in red states refused to give health insurance to tens of millions of people. Health care is vital to saving lives.

Or take de-funding of women's health clinics that provide cancer screenings, prenatal care, birth control, etc.

Or .. well this post could go on a long time listing all the things that matter to health and quality of life that Republicans would much prefer we do without. All while giving the wealthy more tax cuts.

If liberals are all about not doing hard things why are the vaste majority of professors liberal?

Is there anything harder than taking on a Silicone Valley mortgage in liberal California, except maybe mastering Intel or apple?

The laziest and most conservative people in the country are living on inherited wealth.

Next Nulli will announce that the liberal Beatles and Ali were lazy.

"It's called consequences"

I thought it was called a child.

But it's clear your consequence is to punish women who have sex by forcing them to be awful parents.

Who really gets punished there? The children.

"But it's clear your consequence is to punish women who have sex by forcing them to be awful parents."

Some people are scared straight sotospeak, by the threat of being potentially destitute when they understand there's going to be no help of real significance coming from the state. Those who are not serve as an object lesson to those who are. According to a certain line of reasoning.

All you have to do is allow any wage slave who claims to be Prolife to talk for a little bit and they will tell you this.

Every single one of them.

Prolife = that dirty ---- WILL pay for what she did.

For a capitalist --- not a bootlicking wage slave who claims to be a capitalist but barely has a pot to piss in, an actual capitalist --- their motivation is about producing more wage slaves.

In the end it's about controlling women for both of them.

Nothing more.

Is there anything harder than taking on a Silicone Valley mortgage in liberal California, except maybe mastering Intel or apple?

This is where you are mistaken....

The people taking mortgages in Silicone Valley aren't as liberal as you think. The tend to be immigrants, and they tend to not understand many of the "liberal" policies set forth, BorderDenial, HomelessnessDenial on and on ... but they don't want to piss off the WhiteLiberalTyranical Masters that run Google, FaceBook etal.

There will be a big change I am predicting in California, as a backlash against "progressive" policies that are making California similar to what they left in India, and China....

The laziest and most conservative people in the country are living on inherited wealth.

Most young people (fresh out of school) I know, living IN SiliconValley live at home. I doubt the poor, unskilled wages being decimated by illegal immigration are living "inheriting" wealth.

I am fortunate, I know that, I have worked my whole adult life in SiliconValley, enjoy many of the fruits.

But I understand what is happening, I see through the rose colored filters you wear regarding California. ...

Time changes things, and California has changed in the last 30yrs, the pendulum is going to swing back .... you can see the cracks in MtnView and SFO, the push back is coming.
