Paul Krugman: So all the "fake news" was true. A hostile foreign power intervened in the presidential election, hoping to install Donald Trump in the White House. The Trump campaign was aware of this intervention and welcomed it. And once in power, Trump tried to block any inquiry into what happened.

Republicans may not think of it in those terms, but that's what their behavior amounts to.

Think? Republicans think? LOL

"The fact is that the occupant of the White House betrayed his country"

Yes.

Patriotism became inconvenient to the GOP at some point. As previously reflected, it makes me curious if patriotism was ever really a thing with them, or just an emotional weapon that's now out-lived its usefulness.

Does Paul Krugman think single payer will work not that he's no longer a whoring himself as a Clinton 2016 shill?

Headline fail. "Great" and "Republican" should not be in the same sentence.

so what about "Great" And "America"?

It worked for Britain.

Well, it seemed to work pretty good right up until they decided to "Brexit" all over themselves.

Let's be done with it and just rename ourselves The Great America that Our Great Leader Trump Made Great (AGAIN).

That's three times as great as anyone else!!

Republicans have already abdicated the high ground of patriotic duty over Party loyalty (they are nationalists, after all, not patriots); the donor class got their tax cuts so they are now giving maybe 10 percent of that as a kickback to the Party to pay for voter class brainwashing though the rwing media outlets.

Nice werk if you can get it.

And another op-ed that is easily categorized into the Liberal "You don't have the same opinion as I do so that means you are bad" category. There isn't a library in the world big enough to hold all of the media articles in this category.

If Republicans had any patriotism or sense of shame they would have impeached Trump over a year ago. Trump's enablers like McConnell, Graham and Ryan will go down in history as disgusting traitors.

So the Dems can impeach. Why are they waiting? The whole DR believes it is a done deal.

Maybe Pelosi needs the DR experts

"So the Dems can impeach. Why are they waiting?"

For the various investigations into Trump to build yet a stronger case yet against him.

Why is Trump stonewalling?

Because a stronger case against Trump is very possible.

Why is Trump now overtly breaking settled law on things like tax returns?

Because he's desperate.

Why is the entire GOP supporting Trump overtly breaking settled law on things like tax returns?

Because they are guilty too.
