Deep-pocketed Republicans who snubbed Donald Trump in 2016 are going all in for him in 2020, throwing their weight behind a newly created fundraising drive that's expected to dump tens of millions into his reelection coffers.

... expected to dump tens of millions into his reelection coffers. ...

For those donors, it's probably just a small portion of the wealth transferred to them via the Trump tax cut.

A healthy tip for a job well done.

Doesn't matter. Bernie would still beat him.

But if the Democrats are stupid (like they were back in 2016) and choose someone that is eminently unelectable, and they very well might, then the money might put Der Drumpfer over the top.

#2 The Dems of course won't learn their lesson from 2016 where they screwed Bernie, Bernie supporters found out about it and wouldn't vote for Hillary which ultimately I think cost her the election. They will find out who is the politically most correct candidate, trot them out with no policies and instruct them to simply bash Trump and they will not get elected. Then they will waste another 2 years saying the reason they lost was because the other side cheated. I'm used to this, I'm a Patriots fan.

Lie #1 from Fat Nixon was that he was going to be completely self funded.

@#4 ... Lie #1 ...

Lie #2 (or is it Lie #96583?) was that he was going to raise taxes on the wealthy, even if it mean his own taxes would go up.

Trump: I Believe In Raising Taxes on the Wealthy, "Including Myself"
www.realclearpolitics.com

...During his town hall event Thursday morning, Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump said that if he became president, he would advocate raising taxes on the wealthiest Americans, including himself. ...

@racist comrade fishy P , looks like your alt-right Grand Old Nazi Party didn't learn a thing from the midterms in 2018.

#6 Hey, unfortunately not aborted monson, "comrade" is so old now that Mueller proved you were a liar for the last 2.5 years but you can still use all the other insults when you know you can't debate, it's not like you haven't had the practice.

What exactly do you think that mueller proved or disproved?

Here are the facts, according to the report:
Russians influenced the election.
Trump's team knew they were trying to do that and didn't report it to law enforcement.
Trump lied about not having business in russia.
Trump obstructed justice many times during the investigation.

And the investigation didn't even dig as deep as they should have. They didn't examine whether or not trump has been used to launder russian money for years. They didn't look into his finances at all.

Why not donate a small fraction of your tax break.

"I've had a couple of people that in 2016, they just weren't on board with candidate Trump at all and they said, ‘Look, Roy, he has won me over. I'm all in,'" he added.

Of course they are "all in" now... because they have no choice now. They are "all in" with Trump or they have to admit to their hypocrisy and support the Democrats. They are painted into a nasty corner sticky with a porn star humper con artist scum and adulterer of a (p)resident that Lies and deflects like no other and pursues division and chaos in America instead of a More Perfect Union and gives aid and comfort to our enemies. Yeah...no way they could admit to being wrong now. And no way to sneak off the sinking ship now without committing political suicide, either.

That is gotta sting a bit. And it is gonna leave a mark on the GOP no matter how this sad episode in our History "ends".

How will the GOP ever clean the stink of Humpy Trumpy off now? Maybe a start nice little war (Valenzuela is ripe!) or maybe we can stir us up some Caravans of Doom and cage some more children to try and distract us again.

The only "sting" I've been seeing is the last two years of lies catching up to you and yours. Are you guys going to triple down on stupid, too? Sorry - I forgot who I was addressing.

"The only "sting" I've been seeing is the last two years of lies catching up to you and yours."

Exactly. Stuff like:

"I have nothing to do with Russia folks, I'll give you a written statement"

"(I have) no deals that could happen in Russia because we've stayed away," adding that he could "make deals in Russia very easily" but "I just don't want to because I think that would be a conflict."

"Russia has never tried to use leverage over me. I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH RUSSIA - NO DEALS, NO LOANS, NO NOTHING!"

Can you believe all those lies???

Oh, wait...those are the lies YOU SWALLOWED.

My bad. I guess the only lies that matter are ones with (D) after their name.
