Chris Strohm: Ninety minutes before Robert Mueller's final report on his Russia probe was released, Attorney General William Barr previewed it from a podium on the seventh floor of the Justice Department.

AG Barr's Thursday morning synopsis of the Mueller Report was detached from reality.

At best, AG Barr's synopsis before the release was misleading. At worst, it was a steaming bag of lies.

To my eyes, AG Barr is not the AG of the People of the United States. With the Thursday morning press conference, he seems to have become the attorney for Donald Trump. Not Pres Trump, but Donald Trump.

AG Barr, during that press conference, ceased being the Attorney General of the People of the United States. He became, at best, a personal lawyer of Donald Trump. At worse, a PR person of Donald Trump.

History will taint AG Barr. Forever.

And one William Barr will have worked to deserve it.

I can only ask, Why?

Barr needs to spend the rest of his life in prison. Lock him up!

Three possibilities:

1) Barr is anticipating some sort of big payoff.

2) Barr is a fantastically arrogant man.

3) A and B.

General Coverup should never be allowed to show his face in public without people calling him out for his corruption.

Barr did what he was hired to do.

1. Stop the investigation.

2. Spin the investigation.

3. Bury the investigation.

"I missed the part where he did any of things."

You miss the truth every day. Slow people generally do.

"Barr's summation of the Mueller report proved factual."

The part about Trump being "exonerated" was not factual therefore your statement is false.

Barr HAD to know he was going to get caught and he HAD to know he was going to look like a fool in just a matter of a few hours.

Exactly like Trump . . . a man with high ambitions and zero moral character.

Barr was caught doing what? Objectively and accurately summarizing the findings of the report? Are we living in the same universe?
