Mueller has been called to testify, but should they rethink this and don't? Could they not just go forward with the report?

What is the dangers of having Mueller testify?

Mueller's answers could assist either party.

Could it derail the chance of impeachment?

Think of the charges to be raised in the House and consider what Mueller has to say in response to question.

If he didn't say outright the crimes committed, then he will have to dodge why?

... Should Congress question Mueller? ...

Yes.

I don't care if Mr Mueller's remarks assist one party or the other. I want to hear what he has to say.

Though I find it quite interesting that the partisan aspect is at the forefront of your thoughts on this. ;)

That aside...

Given AG Barr's spin-control comments Thursday morning and earlier, at best misleading, at worst intentional lies, I would want Congress to allow Mr Mueller to talk directly to the American people without the taint of AG Barr trying to keep Pres Trump happy.

They'll look for a way to prevent him.

They sure trusted him last month.

WTF are you going to learn when he testifies? Do you think he is going to fess up that he lied to us in the report? FUNNY.

Why does it bother you?

Among other things, I want to know his interactions with Barr. That should be pretty cool.

What are you afraid of comrade Petros?
Mueller testifying isn't good for your side.

He should be invited to testify.

He should be subpoenaed if he won't voluntarily testify.

I'd love to see him testifying. I would like to hear his answer on whether or not he would have indicted Trump with the evidence he had amassed if Trump were your average Joe. If he felt like Comey did in a recent situation where "our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case. Prosecutors necessarily weigh a number of factors before bringing charges. There are obvious considerations, like the strength of the evidence, especially regarding intent. Responsible decisions also consider the context of a person's actions, and how similar situations have been handled in the past."

It would be an informative Q&A, I bet.

Absolutely yes. We paid this guy to do a job, not roll over and let P. Barr rub his belly.
