"Attorney General Barr's regrettably partisan handling of the Mueller report, including his slanted March 24th summary letter, his irresponsible testimony before Congress last week, and his indefensible plan to spin the report in a press conference later this morning -- hours before he allows the public or Congress to see it -- have resulted in a crisis of confidence in his independence and impartiality. We believe the only way to begin restoring public trust in the handling of the Special Counsel's investigation is for Special Counsel Mueller himself to provide public testimony in the House and Senate as soon as possible. The American people deserve to hear the truth."

Barr and Trump at home in the WH:

No wonder Barr was spinning this Report so hard; It confirms that Russian stole the emails the very same day Trump told them to, it confirms that the Pres ordered his aides to obstruct justice, and it lays out a case for Congress to start hearings on obstruction of justice... even citing precedence for them to do so.

Now they just want Mueller to testify to those things in the Report before Congress.

it's not what they know, it's what they can prove in a court of law. you'd have to be brain dead to not realize that trump is deeply connected to the russian crime syndicates. that's why his financials are of paramount interest to him to keep secret. he's a thief

Dems plan Monday call on Mueller report: 'Congress will not be silent'

House Democrats will convene via conference call on Monday to discuss the next steps following the public release of special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russia's election interference and whether President Trump obstructed justice.

In a letter to House Democrats Thursday night, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) told her caucus that they will talk about their strategy following the Passover and Easter holiday weekend, which will also offer lawmakers time to review the 448-page report in full.

Pelosi said the conclusion offered by Attorney General William Barr in his four-page summary and press conference that Trump did not obstruct justice was "directly undercut" by Mueller's report. Pelosi added that the version of the Mueller report provided by the Justice Department was "disrespectfully late and selectively redacted."

Pelosi cited a line from the Mueller report stating that "We concluded Congress has authority to prohibit a president's corrupt use of his authority in order to protect the integrity of the administration of justice," which "accords with our constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law."

"Congress will not be silent," Pelosi wrote.

If people want impeachment proceedings to happen, we need to call our representatives and if need be take to the streets.

Impeach all you want, he won't be removed. Just like Clinton, they'd be pissing in the wind. It's all political theater. They were going to have Mueller testify from the get go. All these demands and whining are pathetic.

Maxine Waters: "At this point, Congress' failure to impeach is complacency in the face of the erosion of our democracy and constitutional norms."

#9 What's pathetic is Dirty Donnie still thinks he is above the law because too many dirty Republicans in the House and Senate, not to mention his Roy Cohn, have enabled him every step of the way:

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

"Donald Trump was being framed, he fought back. That is not Obstruction." @JesseBWatters I had the right to end the whole Witch Hunt if I wanted. I could have fired everyone, including Mueller, if I wanted. I chose not to. I had the RIGHT to use Executive Privilege. I didn't!

Sounds like comrade Willow is becoming unhinged because he just figured out his orange Fuhrer is going to prison once the Orange Skidmark leaves office.

The impeachment of Clinton arguably lead to Gore's loss and Dubya's presidency. So to call impeachment of Clinton a wasted effort is simply foolish.

Keep pretending President Bucket of ---- isn't worth impeaching and you will help reelect him.

Let the Mueller hearings be public. Make the anti-American alt-right (R)tard politicians decide if they are with us (America) or with the enemy (Russia).

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez @AOC

While I understand the political reality of the Senate + election considerations, upon reading this DoJ report, which explicitly names Congress in determining obstruction, I cannot see a reason for us to abdicate from our constitutionally mandated responsibility to investigate.

Many know I take no pleasure in discussions of impeachment. I didn't campaign on it, & rarely discuss it unprompted.

We all prefer working on our priorities: pushing Medicare for All, tackling student loans, & a Green New Deal.

But the report squarely puts this on our doorstep.

Hopefully Democrats will be smarter than you.

This report is the best campaign ad against humpy and the deplorables we could ask for or money can buy.

Call Mueller to testify.
Call Cohen to testify.
Call Don Jr. to testy.
Call Guccifer 2.0 to testify
Call Papadopoulos to testy.
Call Flynn to testify.
Call Gates to testify.
Call Carter Page to testify.
Call Manafort to testify.
Call Jared Kushner to testify.

Parade every single one of these criminals in front of the public and make them explain their actions or take the 5th in public.

That should take us right up to Election Day.

Meanwhile we need to address all the issues Trump cannot deal with, such as health care and immigration reform and all the other issues facing America, because of his criminal actions.

Will you never stop lying?
The report does not in any way confirm that Russia stole the emails that Sec. Clinton had deleted off of her personal server.
You, Corky, are a liar.

Best way to testify for these dems is either the hillary defense [I don't recall], or the Lois Lerner [I plead the 5th]. Worked for them so shy not use a proven tactic ;-)

But did you even bother to read the 400 pages?

It is an awful lot of pages with no pictures.

You don't remember Gore having to deal with Clinton "dirt"? Stuff like the kiss with his wife at the convention?

The election was razor thin and Gore had to fight against Republican lies about the Clinton administration.
