Once it was revealed that the Trump organization employed illegal alien workers, they were fired, even though many of them had worked for the Trump properties for decades. Eric Trump, a vice president of the company explained, "We are actively engaged in uniforming this process across our properties and will institute e-verify at any property not currently utilizing this system." The orange sloth disclosed during his State of the Union address in February that "We need people to run the factories and plants and companies that are moving back in, but they have to come legally." To accomplish this Donny is closing all 23 U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services offices overseas, which administer the nation's lawful immigration system. The administration said the closure will not only save millions of dollars, but it will clear up the back-log of domestic applications for legal-immigration programs.
The firings took an emotional toll on Eric who said, "I must say, for me personally, this whole thing is truly heartbreaking. Our employees are like family". He didn't bother to mention that had the organization used the e-verify system in the first place these employees would never have been hired.
