The confidence that international and U.S. businesses had in President Donald Trump's economic policies has dropped rapidly because of his protectionist trade policies, according to analysts from Fidelity International. Fidelity releases a report each year based on 16,000 interviews with top financial officers and chief executives, and this year 45 percent of respondents said Trump's policies were having a negative impact on their sectors.

Trump's business model is a psychotic version of what he might have learned at the business college. To wit, create a contract for a task, then refuse to pay, offering 1/2 or less of the contracted payment and telling the other party to sue you for the balance. I cannot imagine ANY business entity wanting to go back for seconds. However, if Trump has a good supply of contractors he has not yet ripped off ... . I am thinking Trump's Yelp rating is abysmal.

Nobody could have predicted that the guy with the failed casinos, failed airline, failed university, failed vodka business, failed steak business, failed travel search engine, failed mortgage company, failed board game, failed magazine, failed bottled water brand, failed football league, and failed bike race would be a failure as a "businessman" president.

I've worked for a few guys like Trump in the last 45 years. Whenever they would be up against a wall about burning an account or a customer saying
they weren't going to renew their contract the boss would say something like "We don't need them anyway. We've got other accounts to follow up on."
As the account list would shrink, I would see competitor stickers on our sold equipment in the field with accounts that we still had.
