Man, part of me loves that she got some instant karma after being cut a break.
The other part says the cop definitely knew better and should be sent through the academy again as punishment, and her ticket should go back to the minor infraction.

I remember WAY back in the '80's reading a blurb in "Car and Driver" about a guy who got pulled over for flipping off a cop and was found to be under the influence. The judge tossed the case because the cop didn't have a legitimate reason for pulling the guy over, that they can't just pull people over for any reason.

Hmm, and here I thought giving the middle finger was giving permission to be punched in the head, twice.

the finger is so passé. Blowing kisses (especially to police or other authority figures) is more provoking than the middle finger anyway. It threatens to burst their over-inflated sense of manhood and is much more effective at provoking an overreaction, if you are into that kind of thing.

Good. Cops deserve a lot of middle fingers, but their fragile angry egos can't deal with it.

They usually just lie. "He didn't signal" "I smelled weed" etc.

I had a principal in grade school who would paint your middle finger red every time you got caught flipping it. First time from bottom of nail to first knuckle. The second time to the second knuckle etc etc etc.

I used to live next door to a deputy who was the son of a sheriff who had a few encounters where he would pull women over and offered to let them off with a warning in exchange for dinner. One woman who was less than polite in her response got a facefull of flashlight. Of course he did not see the witnesses that watched him beat her for no reason.

Millions of tax dollars later his dad still had him as a deputy.

The duties and powers of a cop attracts the type of person who wants to demand respect and beat up minorities.

Does this extend to African-Americans?

Old news. Comes up every couple of years.

See First Amendment for clarification.

Thanks. I identify as a place, so blowing kisses will take some practice but that was some really good advice. Thank you.
