George Conway, the husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, said Monday that it would "unquestionably be grounds for impeachment" if President Trump ordered former White House economic adviser Gary Cohn to pressure the Department of Justice to block the AT&T-Time Warner merger.

Using Executive Powers to willfully inflict economic injury on shareholders for petty personal political retribution?

Wow.

This may be the 'Picking winners and losers' all time champion here folks!

The merger should probably be blocked. But Trump is probably doing it for the wrong reasons.

While Trump Is known as the man who lives for revenge, there is such a thing as anti-trust laws, which are being ignored lately as wealth concentrates.

Yeah trump doesn't care about anti-trust, only anti-trump. If CNN were like fox news, he'd have no problem with the merger.

So, I see the typical Liberal douchebaggery going on at Drudge but where's the story about AOC's embezzling (for lack of a better term) almost a million dollars from her campaign? Where is that article? I'm just trying to find out how to be a good Drudge Liberal. Do I ignore everything bad that Dems do because it really isn't bad unless a Rep does it?

How does someone who has been here almost 5 years not know about this:

Write a blog entry
Typical rightwingnut job:

Wants someone else to do his work for him.

So, I see the typical rightwing douchebaggery is to smear a democrat without sourcing or even any (gasp!) proof, then be too lazy to do any research themselves. You should at least thank Hans after you are finished spitshining the president's Balzac.

""...where's the story about AOC's embezzling (for lack of a better term) almost a million dollars from her campaign? "

I googled yesterday and that story only appeared in your most right wing places. I seriously doubt that it is even true. I think it is just an attempt to attack AOC because she is rattling the cages of the lunatic fringe. BTW, the typical Republican today, would have been referred to by that exact descriptive phrase; i.e. "lunatic fringe" only a couple of decades ago. Today, the Republican Party has been taken over by lunatics and thieves. I doubt it will ever recover and this nation is in trouble because of you lunatics.

Post a thread, idiot. I'd love to see your "source."

Eisenhower called them out.

Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There is a tiny splinter group, of course, that believes you can do these things. Among them are H. L. Hunt (you possibly know his background), a few other Texas oil millionaires, and an occasional politician or business man from other areas. Their number is negligible and they are stupid.

The current Republican party is so far to the right they consider what used to be "center" as the nut-bag far left. Did they ever hear of FDR: one of the most popular presidents in American history (along with Washington and Lincoln); was elected four times. The current Democratic party is to the right of FDR!
