Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

President Trump on Thursday defended North Korean leader Kim Jong Un over the death of American college student Otto Warmbier, whose family says he was "brutally tortured" while imprisoned in North Korea and died in 2017 after being flown back to United States in a coma. The president condemned the "brutality of the North Korean regime" following Warmbier's death at 22 years old, but he took a softer stance toward Kim at the conclusion of their second summit. "I don't believe he would have allowed that to happen," Trump said. "It just wasn't to his advantage to allow that to happen."

But it did happen, Trump. You feckless whore of a POTUS.

Republicans should all be given the delight of a North Korean brain examination.

This is sick.

An American college student was tortured and killed by North Korea and Trump is taking his killer's side.

Trump is a physical and moral weakling. I can't believe there's a single person here who would defend this.

See the pattern yet?:

"Kim said he didn't do it, I believe him."

"Prince MBS said he didn't do it, I believe him."

"Putin said he didn't do it, I believe him."

Is there a dictator anywhere who doesn't have Trump's admiration, envy, and unquestioned fealty?

"But [Kim] tells me he didn't know about it."

Are you fkuking serious?
The guy is a known killer who rules with an iron hand, and they tortured an American college student and shipped him home to die.

Silence from the usuals.

Trump addressed Warmbier's parents during the 2018 State of the Union and said, "You are powerful witnesses to a menace that threatens our world, and your strength inspires us all. Tonight, we pledge to honor Otto's memory with American resolve."

Boy, Trump really seemed committed to that pledge, didn't he?

Trump takes murderous dictators at their word but disputes/ignores the findings of our own intelligence agencies.

His supporters are anti-American.

The flaw in your logic is the idea anyone has to take Kim seriously when he criticizes the United States.

Trump didn't have to defend Kim's murder of an American student. He chose to do it.

There's Democratic State of the Union coming soon where Warmbier's parents are invited back.

What does Trump do if Warmbier's parents take him to task on Twitter?

Does he swipe back? My guess is yes, he would.

Warmbier's parents have now come out criticizing Trump for pretending Kim didn't know about Warbier's treatment. They waited until the summit was over.

Trump is just trying to be nice to Kim in hopes that Kim will someday have the courtesy to give him a reach-around.

Remember how conservatives' heads exploded when Obama simply said he would meet with NK without preconditions? Trump is meeting with dictators, taking their side on issues of international importance and denigrating the United States. Where are the patriots on the right to finally take this scumbag to task?

I cannot imagine the pain and anguish Otto's parents had to endure this week watching the man who is supposed to hold tyrants accountable for torturing and murdering Americans turn around and blow Kim on stage.

You think Fat Nixon's blowing Putin on stage was bad? This is 1,000 times worse.

Anyone that supports that fooking traitor after this has no moral compass. NONE.

Fat Nixon has sent the word to the dictators around the world that it is okay to torture, humiliate and murder Americans so long as you have something that he wants.

Great to be back from Vietnam, an amazing place. We had very substantive negotiations with Kim Jong Un - we know what they want and they know what we must have. Relationship very good, let's see what happens!

A look at the comments section of FauxsNooz to see what the truly brain dead would come up with to defend dear leader is enlightening. In what left of their festering, malignant minds, it's either Otto's fault for going, or his parents fault for how he was raised. Niiiiice.. A couple minutes reading the garbage their viewership creates only confirms those supporting this POS president are a stain on society and beneath contempt or respect.

And Trump is now implying that perhaps it should be President Obama who's ultimately held responsible for Otto Warmbier's death.

‘Trump is a sociopath': Harvard psychiatrist breaks down the president's ‘severe, continuous, mental disturbance'

To understand his actions, it is essential to keep in mind that sociopaths have only one goal: to enhance themselves, and that in pursuing their self-interest, they lack both normal human empathy for others and a normal human conscience. Cheating, conning, lying, stealing, threatening are all done with no remorse.

I would think so! That's a very exclusive club he hopes to join. It's by invitation only, you know, and a sponsor! Dictators don't allow just anybody in the door. Ya' gotta make your bones. (gangsta talk)

Twin, I was thinking about this post earlier today:

Trump has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Not a single one.

He's a bad father, a bad husband, a bad businessman, a bad negotiator, a bad friend, a bad financier, a bad administrator (of anything), a bad decision maker, a bad legal client and now a bad president.

Oh gee, what could possibly go wrong?
Posted by Twinpac at 2019-03-01 06:48 AM

You really hit the nail on the head right there. The only things Trump are good at is lying and tooting his own horn. In those two areas, he excels BIGLY.

All wannabe dictators are insecure control freaks. That's why they need to be dictators.

Trump has to make his bones (to quote Sammy "The Bull" Gravano) first. He hasn't done a mass murder yet but he might have his eyeball on Iran if the law doesn't catch up with him first.

Indeed! But put yourself in Trump's shoes. It's a thing of joy and cause for celebration in the eyes of a despotic sociopath.

Because that's who we're dealing with.
