John Wayne is never going to be confused for a progressive by anyone familiar with his life and career.

Good thing John Wayne already burned his shack down, or Pompey might be tempted to torch the place!

I subscribe to CHUCK D's evaluation.

Miller: John Wayne was a ---.

Repo Men: The hell he was!

Miller: He was, too, you boys. I installed two-way mirrors in his pad in Brentwood, and he came to the door in a dress.

Oly: That don't mean nothing, Miller. A lot of straight guys like to watch their buddies ****. I know I do.

Otto Plettschner: Damn straight!

The is just in: John Wayne was a cranky old texan who said exactly what you'd expect a cranky old texan to say before he died in the 80s.

This interview is decades-old has already been seen by anyone who cares to know and not really relevant to modern society.

Too bad the interview link goes to a paywall news site (You've reached your monthly free article limit) because 10 cents a week from a credit card isn't the leverage between White Supremacy and civilization I'm looking for.

Yap, ladies.

I feel so strongly about making white people look bad that I forced Marion to say those things.

I also pulled some strings and got the story published in the LA Times on Wednesday.

Then I telepathically convinced a mod on this site to move the thread to the front page.

I'm the man behind it all, the hand up Mona Lisa's skirt.

Wasn't he originally Marion Robert Morrison from someplace in Iowa? The closest he ever came to the military was trying to enlist for WW2! His endgame movies were funny to watch! Playing the leading man to actresses less than half his age. Dean Martin was a better actor.

Elvis was better actor.

#4 | Posted by Tor Wrong, Marion Robert Morrison, was a Cali boy, born and raised. He seldom came to Texas, except to make a movie or two.

Movie stars are notoriously quirky. Strange quirks the Duke had. He wouldn't stay in a room with tuna fish opened. He married a bunch of Mexican girls, all minors or near majority. He did not like to be around black people, to the point that he would not fly on a plane with them. Check out his films, he only made one film with a black lead, Cowboys. He hated riding horses. He was much more comfortable on a boat. He did own a 100 foot yacht. Oh yes I was wrong, John Wayne was born in Iowa, he was moved to California before he was seven.

If Marion Duke Morrison was in Venezuela he wouldn't have had any movies to pretend to be tough in after dodging the draft.

It is only thanks to capitalism that Marion Duke Morrison was able to pretend to be tough in movies after dodging the draft.

My dead father was a WW2 vet on submarines in the South Pacific. More than once, when he was drunk and reminiscing, he claimed all of his shipmates believed John Wayne was a sissy. Just sayin'. He, as did many, claimed their favorite John Wayne movies were the ones in which his character was killed.

Hidden in that gem of an article is an argument that conservatives like Mr. Wayne could use against building the wall. Below is an update of a quote from the story to match a modern topic.

"I don't feel migrant workers are doing wrong in taking this great country away from us, if that's what you're asking," Wayne said. "Their so-called stealing of this country from us is just a matter of survival. There are great numbers of people who need new land, and we are selfishly trying to keep it for ourselves."

hahahahaha, I love hypocrites. They only take strong positions on things when it benefits them.

That puts The Duke left of Andrea, a mattress.

"There are great numbers of people who need new land, and we are selfishly trying to keep it for ourselves."
That puts The Duke left of Nullifidian.

I wonder if those two can name anyone who isn't to the left of those two, when it comes to immigration.

Way past the time for Wayne to have changed his tune. How many Black Americans had been heroes in Wayne's lifetime by 1971? For Mrr. Patriotic Swagger himself, ine would think he'd have grown up and grown out of the racism of hos childhood.

John Wayne's white supremacist views are well in keeping with American history. Unfortunately.

The Duke wasn't ether a wimp or a coward. He earned a football scholarship to UCLA but got badly injured after his freshman year, surfing. After he lost his scholarship he went to work at a studio to care for horses where he got noticed by John Ford. His leg injury never healed completely, the services would have barred him from enlistment. There was a reason for that rolling gate he was famous for.
