And weren't a couple of those big farm operations owned by investors from CHINA, which has got to be a sweet deal for them?

we do a lot of beans around here and this isn't really corporate farm country..Linn county voted probably 95% trump. the thing about these white people who were just so loud and raucous in their support of trump, when you ask them about the bean situation..they tend to whine their disappointment.

well let me clue you to what they say at the feed mill or tractor supply, "I get so tired of hearing farm subsidies being compared to welfare, like we're a bunch of them down there in the ghetto shooting each other..we feed the damn world and yes we may get some help from the government, When Necessary, but we pay taxes, not like those people who Live off welfare". that's pretty much verbatim around here and repeated like gospel

I propose we rename the farm states to include some iteration of Venezuela in it.

North and south Venezuela. Venezebraska. Venezansas. Venezowa.

Let's appropriately label them as the socialist hellholes they clearly are.

So Trump's trade war not only makes goods from China more expensive, it also forces us into his vote-buying scheme with billions spent on aid to farmers.

Who would have thought that a guy who couldn't even make money on a casino would be so economically illiterate?
