New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution in connection with a Florida spa tied to an international human trafficking ring, police said Friday. The NFL owner was charged with paying for sexual services at Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter. ... An investigation into the Jupiter spa began in October. Women, many of them from China, lived in the spa and were not permitted to leave, according to Martin County Sheriff Will Snyder.

A friend of President Trump and frequent visitor to Mar-a-Lago, Kraft was in the area as recently as this past weekend, when he attended a fundraiser at The Breakers for the Everglades Foundation.

That figures.

IKR. This looks like a sweep of massage parlors where the (often asian, here in LA) masseuse supplements her income with "tips."

Stings like this hit KTown here in LA every year or so and sweep up a bunch of local politicians and entertainment types, they usually get some press and then very quietly go away.

That being said, if Goodell remains silent on this, it's a problem for the league.

Now now, everyone.

It's critical to remember that people simply are not the sum of their worst moments in life. Go back through your life and write down every terrible thing you have done or said, and now imagine a video of it is on the internet. Would you want that to be the record of your life?

I agree with ABH on the Headline. The charges, as I heard them on ESPN (over and over again during my hair cut at Sports Cuts) and the age of the sex worker was never mentioned.

Human trafficking, on the other hand, was quite prominent in the story; and that implication is a pretty hot wire by its self, doncha think.

The guy in the chair next to mine said "Stop the presses! Old man pays for a--------. Lock him up, lock him up."

Florida human trafficking: Billionaire equity firm owner John Childs wanted on prostitution charge in Vero Beach

He's a prominent donor to several Republican politicians and groups, including former U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan, Club for Growth and 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

He donated about $4.3 million to Republican candidates and PACs last cycle, according to a review of federal campaign finance records.

His largest donation, $250,000, went to America First Action, a pro-Donald Trump super PAC. Senate Conservative Action, Freedom Partners Action Fund and the National Republican Senate Committee all received large contributions over the past two years.

Other large contributions have gone to Sen. Mike Braun of Indiana, Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee and Rep. Mimi Walters of California.

He also gave $600,000 to Gov. Ron DeSantis' gubernatorial campaign last year.

Prostitution prohibition leads to lots of problems. Legalize prostitution and regulate it and tax it, like socialist countries do.

This isn't just about prostitution. Some folks think prostitution should be legal, I am conflicted on that issue but no one should be conflicted about human trafficking.
