The Obama administration initially determined she was not a citizen and notified her family that it was revoking her passport in January 2016.

I see alot of people on this woman's side(not necessarily on this site) are trying to blame Trump for this. I hope everyone makes it clear, Obama thought the same thing.

Hell, she isn't even a citizen of the USA. Her parents were here as diplomats.

She could just come across the southern border with the others. Cheaper than a lawsuit and it's the new.

President Obama was wrong, wrong when he said this young girl wasn't a citizen. He said so many wrong things. How would he know? He's not even a citizen, so how can he call her not a citizen? Many people have told me she is a citizen. Our Saudi allies have even told me she is a citizen. To help our allies, I'm gonna let this girl into the US. I'm sure she will be great for the country. Just great! OK, Mike, go let her in. She can come in through Ellis Island. So great...

Gitmo is ready.

We have plenty of room for terrorists.

Even stupid ones.

If Donald Trump can continue to be a US citizen, so can this woman. She's done much less damage overall to the country.

Ya, I am kind of mixed on this.

The first question - was either of her parents a diplomat at the time of her birth? Obama administration didn't think so and neither does Trump's. If either were - she is not a citizen but how did she get a passport in the first place? She had to prove she was a citizen... I personally think it was revoked out of convenience. "She's not our problem now." I wouldn't put that past Obama or Trump. I don't have the evidence but I am leaning toward she's actually a citizen. If not - no big deal, the debate is over. She's their problem.

Second - if it is determined by the courts she is a citizen then what? I say bring her back and put her on trial. She will spend the rest of her life in prison. Seems like a waste of resources.

If she isn't brought back she probably follows the remnants of ISIS somewhere else, has a few more husbands and sprouts a few more spawn of radicals. Either that or the Syrians dole out their version of justice in the matter and her parents are free to leave the country and take care of her child.

It's hard to have sympathy or excuse her at all even though she was young and dumb, but then I remember she was living in Alabama. That must be hell for a Muslim.

Personally I say we leave her there. The trouble is she's an American citizen and so are her kids so we have to bring her back.

She was mature enough to get into the University of Alabama.

"She was mature enough to get into the University of Alabama"

Incredible considering that she looks like she still has a full set of teeth...

Her parents came from Yemmin.

She knew how good life was in America.

She does now for sure... Even in Alabama it's better than Syria or Yemen.

Leon trotsky's writings reflect that he didn't know how good life could be in a capitalist system till he had to flee Imperial Russia and came to America.

"he didn't know how good life could be in a capitalist system"

Here in the West we have several different types of ice picks to choose from, thanks to the free market system.

How long before it is revealed the young lady tortured and abetted sex crimes against newly-arrived ISIS/ISIL/Daesh militant wannabes?

Which is why he got an ax in the head...

Socialized medicine claims... why waste expensive aspirin when you got an ax.

Her application for citizenship was denied by the Obama administration. Just tell Trump this and she'll be let in in a flash.

Seriously, when she was denied a passport during the Obama administration she went to court and won. Thus, this is over. She is a citizen. Finished.

Now the Trump can go through the process of revoking her citizenship if they want, but they can't just arbitrarily say she is not a citizen. If they could, then we would all be screwed.
