"Steal the Oil"

IMO it's less about stealing Venezuela's oil than it is about decreasing their output. Take their oil off the market and the price of everyone else's oil goes up. Including Russia's, whose economy is much more dependent on the price of oil than we are.

Having said this, Maduro is no prize by far. Venezuelans deserve more.

Venezuela deserves what others have. To determine thier own elected officials and a right to self determination.

Without interference from the 1000 lb gorilla up north or anybody else.

Full stop.

I don't disagree. Does seem though that there are election irregularities that cast the final result into question.

Excellent article which tells the truth about Venezuela. I especially love the last few paragraphs where the author takes apart the faux arguments made here in the U.S. in favor of intervening or just meddling in Venezuelan politics. The "hamanitarian concers" should viewed with our assistance to Saudi Arabia in Yemen in mind. Our Vice President making speeches against the nuclear deal in Iran. Our President being friendly to Duerte. Humanitarin concerns my ass!

As if we haven't had similar occurrences right here in the U.S. in more than one recent election. For the U.S. to call other nation's election crooked is laughable.

It's not just the US.

Thanks for the link Fresno but the same folks who deny that Interstate Crosscheck had any affect on our election won't respect Greg Palast's integrity. They only believe what Fox News tells them to believe.
