Senator Elizabeth Warren, at a rally outside a mill in Lawrence, Massachusetts, has officially announced she is running for the Democratic nomination for president. Warren told the crowd on Saturday, "It won't be enough to just undo the terrible acts of this administration. We can't afford to just tinker around the edges -- a tax credit here, a regulation there. Our fight is for big, structural change. This is the fight of our lives. The fight to build an America where dreams are possible, an America that works for everyone. I am in that fight all the way. And that is why I stand here today: to declare that I am a candidate for President of the United States of America." The formal start of Warren's White House campaign comes as the Democratic primary intensifies by the day, with numerous candidates including Sens. Kamala Harris and Cory Booker already in the race, and others, like Sens. Bernie Sanders and Amy Klobuchar, expected to jump in soon.

Paid spectators. I knew 2020 was going to be fun but I had no idea how hilarious it was going to be.

Yup, Sen Warren really needs to find a way to bring her past misstatements to a closure.

The near-continual apologies are not doing it for me.

She should just give it up now, and save everyone's time and money. She's already shot herself in the foot.

Donald Trump reportedly paid actors $50 to cheer for him at his 2016 announcement

On Wednesday, The Hollywood Reporter said it obtained an email that came from a casting company named Extra Mile offering actors $50 to attend the announcement and pose as Trump supporters.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the email was sent Friday.

"We are looking to cast people for the event to wear T-shirts and carry signs and help cheer him in support of his announcement," the email said. "We understand this is not a traditional 'background job,' but we believe acting comes in all forms and this is inclusive of that school of thought."

#9 No Gal, I'm not. I attended three Trump rallies, two in the Panhandle and one in Jacksonville. The rallies were attended by thousands of people. I wasn't paid to attend one anymore then a Russian held a gun to my head and forced me to fill in the bubble next to Trump's name on the ballot. I'll stick with what I saw with my own eyes versus a casting company and the Holliweird Reporter.

"No Gal, I'm not."

Gracie, did you attend this event in June, 2015 in NYC?:

"Jun. 17, 2015, 7:23 PM

Real-estate mogul Donald Trump is being accused of hiring actors to cheer for him at his 2016 presidential-campaign announcement in New York City on Tuesday."

That's the event the reports are referring to. If you were there, I'll be impressed!

FYI: Trump isn't as popular in NYC as he is in parts of FL.

@#12 ... FYI: Trump isn't as popular in NYC as he is in parts of FL. ...

An example of understatement, as used in the English language.

The Deplorables are frightened. By a woman. They lash out in hateful fury. Only to energize her more.

I would not want Pocahontas going after me.

You all have fun with that.

Don't worry about Humpy tho. He will be fine.

In prison.

People do want to try and do something about climate change. It's not a punchline for anyone outside of the Trump ignorance field.
