For the exact same reason why you're allowed to comment.

It's a rorschach test where partisans saw exactly what they wanted to see.

FTA: "What W.E.B. Du Bois described as the "psychological wages of whiteness" can take many forms. One of them is the ability of those deemed to be "white" to bend reality and distort plain and obvious facts in the service of white supremacy. Defending the behavior of the white teens of Covington Catholic is a prime example of an old and dangerous American problem."

An old VP/Boss of mine, who graduated from Tuskegee University, showed me this attitude in our white colleagues and the owners of the company we worked for. As a young white boy at the time, he showed me covert and overt forms of racism still lingering in American society. And the ability for white business owners to bend reality into what they imagine and want it to be, not the way it really was is the most aggravating evidence of it.

If you'll forgive the touch of sentimentality, on my last day of working for the company, I shook his hand and told him I'd never be able to repay him for all the education he'd given me.

FTA: "The mere accusation of racism against a white person is worse than the impact of racism on the safety, security, lives and literal existence of nonwhites.

White people are the "real" "victims" of "racism" in America. Donald Trump, with the help of Vladimir Putin and Russia, rode this lie to the White House.

White people are somehow "oppressed" by nonwhites, "political correctness", and "civil rights."

Whiteness is benign. White people, regardless of the evidence of their bad behavior or ill intent, are always entitled to the benefit of the doubt.

White racial innocence and white racial fragility must always be honored. As such, no amount of evidence is sufficient to prove conclusively that racism exists and that a given individual or group of white people have acted in the service of racial animus and racial inequality.

When white people are accused of racist behavior, they are allowed to decide what evidence is acceptable, credible and true.

Intentions, feelings, and the unanswerable question "What is in their heart?" trumps all empirical evidence and facts about the consequences of racist behavior and the context in which it occurred."

Wow it's like someone opened up boaz's head and wrote down his thoughts.

I like White Monkeys. White Monkeys feed me cake.

I love cake.

Asians will kill themselves before they learn to bake a cake.

I also had a black mentor at one time. Funny thing is that he rarely talked about race or racism, but he often talked about love and hate.

The premise seems to be that the experience of one group (African-Americans here I suppose) makes nonexistent the different experience of another group interacting with the same issue.

Outrageously fallacious logic.

The issue is too important to go at full ------ like this, as we can clearly see when evidence of racist conservatives are encountered.

Who are we helping by enabling and participating in the same behavioral patterns on our side?

Oh, and I'll give you some cake, buddy.

Not to mention assigning ideology and behavior based solely the color of skin, accompanied by anger and dislike. This prejudice, and the acceptance of it on the right and left, is what is truly offensive. I used to see it more on The right, now the left more vocally supports this type of thought on the left.
