Darren Samuelsohn: Rudy Giuliani sent an unmistakable message Wednesday night: It's everyone for themselves. During a CNN interview, President Donald Trump's personal lawyer blurted out that the only person he knows about who didn't collude with Russia was Trump himself. Although Giuliani tried to walk back his comments on Thursday, the remarks put the sprawling web of people caught up in special counsel Robert Mueller's probe on notice: no one is coming to save you.

I will defer to the trial lawyers of the DR, but this seems like a prosecutors dream scenario, the classic "Prisoners Dilemma" with multiple perps.

Rudy knows Tramp was involved in it.

He is not the type of person that doesn't stick his tiny orange fingers into everything and muck it up.

Rudy is just as usual lying his ass off in a vain attempt to protect the last days of the administration.

@#2 ... Rudy is just as usual lying his ass off in a vain attempt to protect the last days of the administration. ...

I think that Mr Giuliani's strategy is to continuously throw confusion into the various discussions, trying to keep them in the political realm.

One thing I've noticed, when Mr Giuliani makes a significant change in his comments (such as all but acknowledging that the was collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia), something big is going to happen. Could Mr Mueller be on the verge of releasing some indictments?

The question is WHY?

Rudy's not even getting paid to help trump.

Is he in putin's pocket too?

I said it at the beginning... Mueller is used to dealing with mob bosses. He is a maestro at getting the underlings to turn on each other and then their boss. The plausible deniability that protected many mob bosses falls apart when Mueller gets involved.

He is scary good. And he appears 3 steps ahead of the Trump team at every turn.

Trump is in trouble. Bigly.

SPEAK

"Rudy's not even getting paid to help trump.
Is he in putin's pocket too?"

Naw . . . he's just addicted to the limelight. He hasn't been in front of this many cameras since 9-11. Plus, he got booted out of the law firm he used to work for. Now he's working for the perks.

Trump is in trouble. Bigly.

I said well over a year ago that if Mueller's financial investigators alone went through Trump's business history they might return dozens and dozens of possible indictable crimes that Trump committed both before and after his entrance into politics. I've always believed that Mueller knows the mood of this nation and that the only way that Trump will ever be held fully accountable is once his criminality is divulged it will be so massive that no defense in the world will make it deniable that he indeed is the personification of (dis)organized crime and should never have been allowed inside the White House to visit, much less to live.

With each passing day, more and more creeps into the sunlight to confirm that I just might be right.

And as I write this it's being reported that the Special Counsels office is pushing back against Buzzfeed's reporting, so maybe not so fast after all.

If anyone had paid attention to Mr Trump's history in the New York City area in the 1980's and 1990's ...
