Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Three-time Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman didn't hold back on his scathing criticism of Donald Trump on Friday, calling him a "disturbed" president who lies so often that "no one trusts this man." "If we face a crisis with a president who no one believes who's surrounded by a C-team in a dysfunctional White House, then God save us," Friedman told Wolf Blitzer on CNN.

The problem here is larger than Pres Trump's significant flexibility with the truth.

The problem here is that there may be a time when Pres Trump needs to address the nation because of some very significant event that occurs.

And few will believe what he says.

The bigger problems are the people who give him a pass for lying.

How about Gruber?

"Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. And basically, call it the stupidity of the American [LIBERAL] voter or whatever, but basically, that was really, really critical to get this thing to pass."

Classic ... it really goes to the point of the matter...
Someone that needs to refresh their career just says Trump is a PoS, Liar or ----------...

You can bet it will be posted here and the IntellectualIdiots will nod in agreement.

On top of all this Thomas Friedman is a blowhard, its well documented, by a liberal blogger no less...

Criticize Obama all you want, at least he was serving America and not Russia.

That's a mighty long post, yet not a single word of it in defense of trump's integrity, reliability, responsibility, or patriotism.

No one can pretend that trump's not a liar, so you try to pretend there's no difference between him and other presidents.

We've never had a president who lies like this one before. Yet somehow you think that's just fine.

As long as he says he hates the same people you hate, you don't care if he's a liar, con man, traitor, racist, criminal, or anything else.

Well I guess you sure told us... and you managed to do it while still whining about the "keeping your own doctor" thing. For some reason it escapes you how wussy that complaint sounds to people living outside the clown bubble. But who knows... maybe that will be the reason you will use to explain why you can't win a war.... or for that matter maybe it explains why you can't defend capitalism without borrowing money from communist nations using slave labor... a republicl°wn favorite.... because taxing the capitalists is too complex.... who knew it would be so complex?

But beyond that... you really need to accept it Mackrelass... another republicl°wn preznit is leaving office in disgrace... and once again the bottomless pit of your collective stupid will be on display for the world to see.

Soooooooo muuuuuuuuuch winnnnnnn-nnnning.

Friedman is an apologist for globalization, the Iraq war, and a propagandist for the 1%. But even this idiot is right about Trump.

This is inevitable. All that remains to be seen is if Trump demands the blood of others before he is carried out.

No he'll just blame it on obama, hillary, or some other democrat.

Nothing is ever his fault or responsibility. He's a true leader.

Just a matter of time for another false flag.
It will be the last attempt for the Grand Old Nazi Party to retain power.

I have serious reservations about Obama. But here's where ---- gets real.... I can admit it and I didn't vote for him for a second term because he betrayed my trust.

Why, after 2 years since Obama has left office, are you still basing the pass you give this liar on "Obama did it too"?

Hint: you really don't care what Trump does. Honest question, what would Trump have to do, short of murdering a child to lose your support,

Or, we have too many people who are looking so hard for how they can spin what someone on the other side says to make it a lie or exaggeration. Trump has said his share of lies like all politicians but much of what he has said are generalities that Liberals latch on to like they are leeches. It happens by the party not in power every time. I think Reps are worse at it because they try to get people to believe issues don't exist. Dems seem to at least see problems but they are so busy trying to get people to believe that Dems are the best thing ever to happen to this planet and everyone else should bow down and serve them and do everything they say, eventually people just tune them out.

'Obama wasn't born in the US'
'3 million illegals voted for Hillary'
'Mexico is going to pay for the wall'
'You need ID to buy a box of cereal'
'Thousands of people were cheering as the World Trade Center collapsed'

Like all politicians? Generalities?

"Could you really trust Obama? "

WFT are you even talking about? Do you know?

The crisis is coming.

And your Gawd is not going to save us.

No Gawd is going to save us.

No one is coming to save us from ourselves.

What we do have is what the Founding Fathers left us. And our own Consciousness.

Now if we would just learn from history and learn how the most Mysterious thing in the Universe (that "thing" we call Consciousness) actually works we might have a chance.
