Stargate over California
I've got a lot a lot of professional imaging experience (granted all legal docs) but I don't know what makes the Sun do something like this. It's awesome.

#1 You have to admit, it does explain things.

To my eye it looks like a very simple photoshop, but I guess there is the possibility that its something reflecting off a window.
The "rainbow around the sun" she never saw is almost always there; you just don't notice it because the sun is damn bright. With the right overcast, its easier to look at things fewer arc lengths away from the sun.

#3 So you completely missed the giant orb coming out of the Sun? Okay. Normal.

Give me the timestamp; I just fast forwarded through it to get to the frames where he applies different filters. I don't have 13minutes to spend watching a loony analysis of what seems to be this effect or an actual Stargate photo superimposed over the original image under something like the "Multiply" layer style in photoshop.
I'd love to be convinced, truly, but I am not convinced by that image.

#4 And I forgot to add; unless you meant that stationary "orb" in the middle of the stargate. That to me looks like a waterspot or dust on the lens, or a reflection on the surface of whatever object the stargate actually is. It looks like it could be a round mirror, which explains why its reflection is parallel to the window I believe this photo was taken through.

This is so dumb it hurts.
You may choose to believe that a movie prop actually was ripped off from alien technology and the artists didn't bother to change a thing about it.
Or you can believe this is probably all a scheme to get us ready for when the real "stargate" appears.
I repeat. This is so dumb it hurts.
