Two-year-old Abdullah Hassan is on life support at a hospital in Oakland, California. Born with a rare brain disease, the young boy doesn't have long to live. Sadly, his mother likely won't be able to say goodbye to her son in person because of Donald Trump's Muslim travel ban. Hassan's mother is of Yemeni descent while his dad, a U.S. citizen, lives in Stockton, California. Despite the family connection, his mother has not been able to gain access to the United States according to The Daily Beast. Abdullah is currently being watched after at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland. Despite the family preparing to remove the young boy from life support, the U.S. State Department has allegedly completely ignored their request for a waiver.

"All she wishes is to hold his hand for the last time," Abdullah's father, Ali Hassan, told The San Francisco Chronicle "If I could take him off the ventilator and to the airplane, I would take him to her. I would let her see him. But he won't make it."

Hassan's father says she has been crying every day and begging "please help me get to my son."

Sadly, with no support from the U.S. State Department, this already grieving mother may not be given the opportunity to see her dying son one last time.

Why is this ban still in place. It was only supposed to be a temporary ban, about 100 days is what I believe Trump said, while we review our vetting policies?

Why has that review not been completed? Are we not at risk from our weak vetting of people from other countries too?
Why is the Trump administration so inefficient at getting anything done. Speaking of inefficiency, how long is that tax audit going to take?

Oh.... It's because it's all lies from Trump

For Trump to care about this kid, or the kids at the border, or the poor, or anyone other than himself, he'd have to have a soul and a conscience.

You can't have a soul or a conscience to succeed in Capitalism.

You literally have to treat everyone and everything as a disposable commodity.

If it doesn't directly benefit you, it's of no use to you.

If you can't make money with it or from it, it's useless.

This kid's life is only as valuable to a Capitalist as its worth. Which, in this case, has none.

It won't win Trump any votes from his deplorables, on the contrary, he would lose voters. Trump won't make money from helping this family. Trump doesn't have a soul or conscience so neither empathy nor sympathy will appeal to him.

It's unfortunate this kid was born into this world. He's lucky he only had to live in it for two years. Better luck to him in the next life/afterlife/void...
