Is Pres Trump using the Justice Department as a pawn to further the trade deal negotiations? Is it even legal for Pres Trump to use the Justice Department in this manner?

Has Pres Trump hung our friends to the north out to dry, as China detains Canadian businessmen?

Trump indicates he is willing to take a Foreign national and hold her hostage to his stupid, ignoramus, 'Gut informed' trade war.

He truly does think like a Mafia Boss.

Eff you enablers.

hey look!

not a single DR know-it-all is hear sharing their wisdom in the constitution and abuse of presidential powers.

I guess they shot that "patriotic" wad on imaginary OBAMA and have nothing left

I wish I could say I was surprised, but I never bought their now obvious fake patriotism, anyway

Did they bribe him with another $500,000,000 project funding?

This is why I said from the get-go that this sounds like a hostage situation rather than a legitimate prosecution.

This arrest isn't trade war stuff this is international Iran embargo stuff. Huawei did this illegally by using a wholly owned subsidiary and then she lied about there being no connection between Huawei and the company. That said using her as a trade war hostage is pretty damned low. Not much law and order in it at all. If she is let off the hook for crimes as a result of the trade war - then the GOP has sunk to new lows.

Trampy's statement will be used by the defense lawyers to release the CEO. Did China pay him to be this stupid?

China currently has two Canadian nationals locked up in retribution for the CFO being captured by Canada. Breaking those sanctions was real bad, it'll be interesting how this all plays out. I hope justice plays out and the lady is prosecuted.
