MSNBC's "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski apologized on Wednesday for using a homophobic slur when describing Secretary of State Mike Pompeo a "butt-boy."

Wow. Where is all the outrage? Poor Joe has a lifetime of this to look forward to. She is an intolerant homophobic, and needs to be fired and sent to the nearest Betty Ford cuckoo place.

I don't use this in my vocabulary but TIL that this is a "homophobic slur." The word seems more like a reference to bacha bazi.

Let's get into this. A "butt boy" is apparently "a sexual boy toy who belongs to an older man." So if you use that term to describe another dominating relationship, are you really making fun of gays? Contrast this with calling someone a f-ggot, where you are literally using the gayness of the term as the derogatory implication. Can the same be said for butt boy, where the derogatory nature comes more from the dominating aspect of the term?

#8 - Agreed. It's all about giving to get, sugar-daddy, and power. I was surprised she said it, but as a gay 'older' man, after I laughed out loud, I thought - "oh, that really shouldn't have been said on morning TV..."

But hey, people look to be offended these days. Comedians can't be too edgy. It was inevitable that the Right that just hates "PC" and loves Trump would end up being the biggest hypocrites about it. It's just so predictable.

Her comment, though offensive, is a minor error in judgmement while her's and Joe's crusade to make Donald Trump a viable candidate by praising him for a couple of years, interviewing him, kissing his ass, etc. has brought real harm to the nation. Those two have never brought anything to the air except celebrity worship.

Watching Hannity clutch his pearls and get the vapors because--gasp!--a gay slur was used, was the biggest laugh of the evening.

It is cute how Liberals have tried to turn the tables on those who want to be offensive by using the suffix -phobe. That's the same logic as saying, if you don't like a sweater on display in a window, you are a sweaterphobe. If you don't like the way a car looks, you are an autophobe.

There is no phobia involved here. It's offensive, not a phobia. Stop trying to use euphemisms to disguise hate so you can call it whatever you want and single people out for not being the kind of person you think they should be. If someone wants to use an offensive word to degrade someone else, stop trying to make yourself feel above them morally. There isn't a person here who hasn't been offensive towards other people. Using the same logic as that stupid suffix, we are all peoplephobes.

Liberals didn't deem this "phobic."
That was Fox News, and on this thread Spork and Boaz.
You should rewrite that #12.

I guess it was an insult to butt boys everywhere to be compared to Pompeo.

Her comment, though offensive, is a minor error in judgmement-

The offensive part is that she couldn't filter her thoughts long enough to to do an unbiased report.
You know that they make these comments off camera and at home.

Do people actually watch these 2 clowns, or for that matter, any other dumb pundit shows?
