"According to the filings: After cheating the IRS for years, lying to banks and to Congress, and seeking to criminally influence the Presidential election, Cohen's decision to plead guilty - rather than seek a pardon for his manifold crimes - does not make him a hero."

Cohen may get the best cell in super max but he's still going away.

this isn't even close to being over. cohen is being tried in at least one other court. what's addressed in this article is just the first thing that we know of that cohen has testified about. it's just getting started for trump. and as far as prison goes, he'll be in a level 4 at the worst and probably in a camp. he'll not be in leavenworth.

He'll be in a minimum security camp.

I'm wondering if it might hint that mueller was hip to manafort's back-doorin' for trump and set him up? and I'm with #3. I don't think cohen is even getting started good with this bit of testimony.

WOW. These filings today essentially confirm that the government believes that Trump conspired with Cohen to commit campaign finance crimes. They also confirm that they believe that Cohen, under the direction of Trump did have contact with a Russian national who offered "political synergy" and "synergy on a government level."

He'll be in a minimum security camp.........#4 | Posted by sitzkrieg

it's going to depend on what his final sentence is. if he gets like 34/42 months, he'd probably do at least a year at someplace like sandstone before he got out to a camp. everything is over capacity so that won't help

Synergy: Just another word for collusion.

One does not get convicted of presidential election fraud and go to anything other than super max.

The Government has now made court filings today that claim that both Manafort and Cohen of lying about communications that they have with Russian agents and they claim to have the communications that prove it.

Dashing through the courts
In one-horse lawyer sleighs
O'er prison walls we go
Lying all the way
Bells on cop cars wail
Giving lawyers fright
What fun it is to laugh and point
At Humpy's ------- tonight!

Oh Dingle balls... dingle balls

Dingle all the way!

Oh what fun is it to laugh and point at Humpy's dong tonight, hey!

Wonder if Orange Adolf's "spawn" is starting to be worried.
The state charges on Cohen and the the length of the sentence they seek should be scaring the living crap out of them.

Who seriously claims to have acted independently on Trump's behalf. I thought he was being cooperative, but Cohen's a cagey cur.

The Moscow activities are confirming the Steele dossier.. the Republican talking heads must be forming a human centipede for protection.

I just read a piece by David French at NRO. With the Cohen sentencing memo it states that Cohen's lie about the Trump Tower deal to be built in Russia was premeditated and at the direction of Trump. I'm posting from my phone and can't link it. I definitely recommend checking it out. That does not bode well for Trump. It would be vintage Trump to be brought down by a lie about a non crime.

Non-crime? Sort of. There's also mention of the meetings with Russians and Trumps with Cohen. You know the "political synergy" bit...
