While President Donald Trump has pushed hardline immigration policies and vilified undocumented immigrants, his private club in New Jersey has employed people who managers allegedly knew were in the country illegally, The New York Times reported Thursday.

The not so funny part about this is that we all know this is going on every day even as the Republicans, who are hiring these people, use illegal immigration as a weapon to beat down their opponents and their voters are just too stupid to see they are being played. This is true on many issues, like, just how does an Evangelical Christian support thrice married Trump? HOw does person concerned about national security support Putin's bitch? On so many issues his supporters are guilty of being involved in a cult of personality, issues, events and reality don't matter. They are so mesmerized by his star power that they disregard issues and just praise this piece of crap as if he is a great leader when, in truth, he is just a punk who inherited Daddy's money.

"The Times noted there is no evidence that Trump or Trump Organization executives knew of the two women's immigration status. However, the women told the newspaper that at least two supervisors at the club were aware and took steps to help them avoid detection and hold on to their jobs."

Incredibly basic and normal story. Illegal gets hired under a stolen social. There is no E-Verify requirement in New Jersey. Illegal is good at their job, supervisor covers it up and tries to help them get legal.

Everyone knows how this works. The person hired to do the hiring knew the game too. Hire illegals but plausible deniability must be maintained for the principals. This happens everyday, all over the country and those principals contribute generously to the GOP, enjoy their tax cuts and screw their employees every day. But, if you talk to them, they are vehemently against illegal immigration, not because they actually want those immigrants to be kept out of the country but because keeping them in an "illegal status" they will work for peanuts. Biggest scam ever played on America but the righties eat it up because they think it is playing in to their racist hatreds. When your opinion on immigration is based on hate you should know you are setting yourself up to be f****d.

LOL. No. You get a social. If mandatory, you run it through e-verify. If it's in the system to be flagged, it is. That's it. It's not a conspiracy.

Its worse than that, you can run e-verify with a work permit and it will pass, when the permit expires you can't re-everify the employee.

When undocumented immigrants get captured they are "documented" and released with a work permit and told to come back for a deportation hearing usually 1-2years down the road.

During that time the individual will pass all e-verify tests... once they have a job, you cannot run e-verify again (its right there in the e-verify banner/poster).

Its possible to do everything correctly and still employ undocumented immigrants.

I wouldn't call it worse. I don't have a problem with illegals. They're often great workers.

Respectfully...your opinion is naive in its' niceness. like the vast majority of liberals, you make the mistake of believing that trump supporters are basically decent people with a different political view. and that they're caught up in trump's larger than life persona. trump is their man. trump says what they want said. trump supporters are white supremist, racist, anti-choice individuals. then you rise to the DeVoss, koch bros, romney etc. financial strata and trump pushes all the right buttons for those rapacious SOB's. about the anti-choice..they care nothing about babies, it's about subjugation of women. it's not just in this country. men viscerally feel women can be owned. trump's foreign policies can't be critiqued because no one knows if trump or his family have some under the table financial deal. think of how much worse off we'd be if he had manners and could spell

Hiring Manager: "We're going to need you to pre into this cup."

Interviewee: "Am I being drug tested?"

Hiring Manager: "Ummm... sure, why not?"

Probably intentionally, don't you think?

After all, it's the corporations who want them coming here so they can have their cheap labor without outsourcing.
