Apparently unaware that interviews in foreign countries make their ways back to America Tucker Carlson of Fox News declare to a German magazine that Trump failed on his wall plan failed to repeal Obamacare and failed to end abortion in America.

A quote from about Trump from Die Weltwoche's interview with Tucker Carlson: "His chief promises were that he would build the wall, de-fund planned parenthood, and repeal Obamacare, and he hasn't done any of those things. There are a lot of reasons for that, but since I finished writing the book, I've come to believe that Trump's role is not as a conventional president who promises to get certain things achieved to the Congress and then does. I don't think he's capable. I don't think he's capable of sustained focus. I don't think he understands the system. I don't think the Congress is on his side. I don't think his own agencies support him. He's not going to do that."

This interview in the Swiss magazine (with a German-language name) could leave a mark.

Tucker Carlson:
«Trump is not capable»
www.weltwoche.ch

...[interviewer] Apart from asking these very important questions has he really achieved nothing?

[Carlson] Not much. Not much. Much less than he should have. I've come to believe he's not capable of it....

I agree Snippy... headline should read "Carlson finds Trump impotent"

Just more of forcing the GOP further to the authoritarian right.

Carlson would have had a little credibility if he had said this two years ago. He's a total lightweight who daily sells his soul for profit. After reading that I think no more or less of Donald Trump. Tucker needs another visit from Jon Stewart.

Why? Tucker said Trump is "not capable" twice in a row.

The original headline that #1 and #4 referenced:

"Tucker Carlson calls trump a liar and loser"

Danni, I agree that nothing Tucker Carlson says would change my view of Trump. But it could be a sign of a trend for Fox and other water carriers to disassociate from the Orange Grifter. Watch for other defections as more comes out from the Mueller investigation.

Carlson's motive is more likely saving his own hide knowing Trump might be forced from office, rather than anything remotely connected to principle.

The role of every honest american is to never let these trump supporters pretend they didn't support him, which will be the hottest trend in coming years.

This is the party of trump now. They all rolled over for his treason, his incompetence, his stupidity, his racism, his cruelty, his fiscal irresponsibility, all so they could get tax cuts for billionaires.

They got their tax cuts, now they'll try to pretend they never agreed with him, supported him, defended him, or deflected on his behalf.

NEVER FORGET 9/11? Screw that.

NEVER FORGET what repubs did for trump.

"NEVER FORGET 9/11? Screw that.
NEVER FORGET what repubs did for trump."

Never forget that the 9-11 Commission Report still redacts the name of the nation where the hijackers came from, that funded them and who was responsible for the attacks and that it was a Republican administration that ignored intelligence agencies (sound familliar?) and allowed the attack to happen. It's referred to in PNAC as a "Pearl Harbor Like Event" which was necessary for an invasion/occupation of Iraq.

Not mad at Tucker. Politics and news religion.
-
He has done more than I ever thought he was capable of as
a real reporter....

Trump will survive all of the madness. It's not fair to his presidency. Hoping he gets to turn some screws now. Turn about is fair play.

Trump CREATES the madness. But he's perpetual victim and you joined his cult, so you don't see it that way.

Every criminal thinks its NOT FAIR when they get busted.

He's not a real reporter. He's an entertainer, like Hannity and BillyO before him.

Auntie, your weekly tanker truck is here. I still don't see how you manage to drink 3,000 gallons each week, but the folks at Kool-Aid want to thank you. We're testing a new flavor this week: Global Conspiracy. Tastes kind of like tinfoil. Enjoy!
