Lobbyists representing the Saudi government reserved blocks of rooms at President Trump's Washington, D.C., hotel within a month of Trump's election in 2016 -- paying for an estimated 500 nights at the luxury hotel in just three months, according to organizers of the trips and documents obtained by The Washington Post.

according to reports:
plush; open bar hours often extended.
...a single booking (each?) enough to float the hotel(s) for entire quarter(s).

Now it is clear to see why dismembering a journalist alive with a bone saw is okay to Dotard.

For 45, the presidency is merely another scam, the latest fix feeding his addiction to wealth and self-aggrandizement. Ethics are for the weak.

One word: Emoluments.

"No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State."

We have enough nothingburgers to create a global franchise. Too bad the economy is beginning to tank, now would the the time to expand the nothingburger busines...

And that's the problem. Both issues are great examples of corrupt politicians. But Dems did everything they could to try to make it sounds as if the Clintons did no wrong, just like Trump and his supporters are going to do with this. Hypocrisy is great to point out but the fact neither side will own up to it is the problem.

"Saudi Arabia, I get along with all of them. They buy apartments from me. They spend $40 million, $50 million," Trump said during a presidential campaign rally in Alabama in August 2015.
"Am I supposed to dislike them? I like them very much."
At another rally that year, Trump said of the Saudis, "I make a lot of money from them."
"They buy all sorts of my stuff. All kinds of toys from Trump. They pay me millions and hundred of millions."

Lying is the problem. Believing in lies and promoting lies as Truth is the problem.

Ignorance is the problem.

Obfuscation of the Truth is the problem.

Alternative Facts is the problem.

Pretending that "both sides are the same" is the problem.

So when Obama ran for office he promised to make the rest of the world love us. He got a nobel peace prize just for saying it.
So why does everyone on the left say Trump shouldn't do the same? They seem to want us to go to war with Russia, Saudi, Germany.......etc.

Right, and Clinton has lied about payments to the foundation and you have no problem with it which makes Humtake's point.

in the mean time, the Clinton Foundation's donations have plummeted since the 2016 election

#13 There's a difference between "promising to make the world love us" and "taking millions in bribes from Saudi Arabia." That you'd even make the comparison is astonishingly stupid.

Except the Clinton Foundation funds go to charities rather than directly into the pockets of the Clintons.

Trump Hotels goes directly into the pockets of Trump.

If you aren't smart enough to see the difference, please leave the DR and never vote again.

Actually those situations are not comparable at all. The Clinton foundation is transparent and the Trump organization is not.

Secondly, Trump can take payments directly from the Trump organization without any oversight. This is, again, not comparable to running a registered publicly accountable charity under US law.

The media campaign against the Clintons really did damage to the brains of people.

Link to that statement.

If obama was so bad you wouldnt have to lie about him.

It requires no lying to make trump look bad.

Not sure about the "rest of the world" but when Barack Hussein Obama was elected President of the United States, the majority of Americans cried tears of Joy.

The world definitely respected our country more when Obama was president.

Not that the Trumpublican white supremacy council cares.

If they can make America white again. They'll gladly trade our economy and way of life for it.

The person who has done the most to make the rest of the world love us is Osama bin Laden.

George Bush filed for divorce 18 months later when we invaded a country that didn't atrack us on 9/11, but did try to kill his daddy.

"Clinton has lied about payments to the foundation"

The Emoluments Clause does not even apply to her. She is not a Federal Officer of any kind.

Emoluments Esmalluments! Congress is perfectly ok with the President making a profit.
