Trump took a torpedo months ago and didn't even know it.

Adam Schiff @RepAdamSchiff

The recommendation of no jail time for Flynn, apart from its obvious irony for the man who led chants of "lock her up," reflects both the timeliness and significance of his help. That most of the details are redacted signals he has given far more than we or the President may know

In retrospect, this article from last year really makes one wonder:

Was Michael Flynn asked to wear a wire in Mueller hunt for evidence on Russia?

Plea agreement includes clause showing Flynn consented to participate in ‘covert law enforcement activities" if required

The Mueller investigation on the whole has been kind of weird. The Flynn side of it has been somewhat baffling based upon what is publicly known.

Jared will do Mikey's time for him...

#6 | Posted by catdog at 2018-12-05 10:04 AM | Reply

Flynn was apparently involved in negotiations with Prince and maybe Jared to setup a communications back channel with the Russians via their Embassy to evade surveillance by the US.
If true, and he spilled the beans, then a lot of people are going to jail.

I trust Mueller to call it as he sees it. If he says Flynn's cooperation has merited a no-prison sentence, I'm okay with that.

"I'm okay with that."

I'd be okay with Papadapoulis time.

But one way or the other, he should be "locked up".

JeffJ,

I have been assured by DR Conservatives that we know absolutely everything Mueller knows and this is a big Nothing Burger.

I'm positive Humtake, Sniper, Gnoles, Visitor, Sawdust, Fishpaw, Spork, Nulli, etc. can be trusted for their top notch investigative work and inside knowledge of this highly secretive investigation.

They are not the type of people to post ridiculous lies that could be disproven by a 5 year old.

Rest assured, Trump is a Saint and everything will be perfectly fine for your beloved President.

"The Mueller investigation on the whole has been kind of weird. "

No it hasn't been. You want wierd, look at the Ken Starr investigation of Clinton. An investigation to an Arkansas real estate deal that ended up investigating a BJ.

Reading the addendum to the memo that Mr Mueller wrote, there is a hint at another investigation that Gen Flynn assisted with. That part is redacted, so no details.

The addendum can be read here: www.documentcloud.org

scroll to section I.B of the addendum on page 8.

I post when people are using what is known in illogical ways or point out hypocrisies. I did it during Obama's terms and I am still doing it today. If you have read any of my comments objectively, you would know that. You are a person who thinks that someone who criticizes anything to do with the side you are on automatically makes them a member of the other side.

To prove my point, who are the people you are calling out with your sarcasm? How many of them are not people that have criticized the Left before? I'm willing to bet 0. Thank you.

Yes. Republicans should be so proud! Now all the world knows that Bill Clinton's erect penis is about five inches long, has the circumference of a quarter (a shade less than a 2p coin) and heads off at an angle, presumably rather like a finger bent at the joint.

Well done Gentlemen! Well done!

It's only weird if you're pathetically holding on to the hilarious belief that trump didn't do anything wrong.

Once you let that go, the investigation makes perfect sense.

What I and many got out of it was that Bill Clinton was so stupid he thought he could get a bj from an intern in the oval office of the WH and get away with it. That is one smart guy. I'm sure as he un zipped his fly he was thinking "hell, no one will find out about this."

#21 | Posted by fishpaw at 2018-12-05 03:38 PM | Reply

I am looking forward the Trump equivalent of the movie Dick. It is a funny story about how two teenage girls uncovered and revealed the Watergate break ins by accident, while making Nixon look stupid.

Trump's fall is going to be more stupid and spectacular.

It is ironic that the guy that led the 'Lock her up' chant is also the snitch that will sink Trump.

Hillary's cackle will be legendary.

You don't get "no jail time" by turning in those down the foodchain, only those higher up.

You mean he didn't pay her $130,000 and threaten her to get her to sign a NDA?

Apparently that doesn't work either.

And for the record, pretty sure he wasn't concerned at the time and was NOT thinking (at least with his big head.. the one that wasn't bent)

And why would he lie? I know when I get a BJ that is a time for celebrating and telling the wife!

What public do you live in? It is pretty clear to the public I live in that our National Security Advisor to the President of the United States was secretly working for the Russians.

"Trump's fall is going to be more stupid and spectacular."

The concern I have for Trump's fall is nobody seems to be foaming the runway for his seemingly inevitable United Airlines flight 232 landing at Sioux City.
