Former Sen. Bob Dole needed help to stand, but stand he did, in saluting George H.W. Bush, whose body lay in state at the U.S. Capitol. It was a powerful moment to watch the 95-year-old Dole paying his respects to the late president.

Nevertheless, this was a badass move of respect by a fellow WWII veteran.

You know me by now, GoNoles, and it's obvious I am not a Republican. But this was very moving. An old man who served his country saluting an old man who had served his country. Respect.
