Donald Trump wants Kim Jong-un to know he likes him and will fulfil his wishes, South Korean president Moon Jae-in said on Sunday, a day after meeting the US president at the G20 summit in Argentina. Moon, who is hoping to host Kim on the first ever trip to Seoul by a North Korean leader, as agreed earlier this year, said Trump had asked him to pass on a message.

This stuff is incredibly weird. Trump acts like he wants to impress one of the mean girls in high school.

If north and South Korea wish to become friendly nations. By all means. Let them.

But I don't forsee a unified Korea anytime soon.

Kim isn't going to willingly abdicate his power.

Kim is the only world leader that trampy can look down on, so he loves meeting with him.

To the man Mr. Moon, trump passed a note
sealed with a kiss and on it was wrote
I'm hoping we'll spend time....soon in America together
I promise fine food and perfect weather
and long moonlight strolls...through the daisies and heather
As they idle in the meadow, trump tells kim
how much he tries to be..like putin and him
"though I live in the white house..things've been rough.
I never thought dictatoring would be so tough"
kim listens to trump and says as he takes his hand,
"you got the desire kid..but you don't got the sand.
dictatin' is cruel, bloody and harsh, and most of all mean
but if you do it right you reap lots of green.
the thing is donnie, you got spurs on your bones.
putin and me...we made our own."

Kim Jong Un or Kim Kardashian?

With Donnie the dotard both are equally possible.

Trump Sends Word That He's Ready to Fulfill Kim's Wishes

After the drubbing he has been taking, Trump is desperate to succeed on something.

Very few anticipated the reunion of E. And W. Germany either. The leader of E. Germany didn't fare to well when they decided it was time to end the tyranny, I suspect Kim Jung Un's future is not going to be good.

Nulli sides with Russia in that conflict, that's just a fact. A shameful one.

Future CNN headline: Ukraine Devastated by War; Danni's Cousin Missing.

NPC Danni loves her Russian belligerence until she's asked to commit to her Russian belligerence, then it's back to straddling the fence.

Classic NPC Danni.

Meh, the Left is going to do everything they can to make sure any positive gains made with Korea are looked at as unfavorably as possible, which the Right would do if it were a Dem President in office right now. Using this as a basis for any partisan hate is sad.

The left is pointing out that the "positive gains" never existed. Just self glorifying marketing slogans from a genius marketing man but terrible negotiator.

Oh no! It's too bad South Korea doesn't have CNN to tell them what's going on before they move forward with deescalation and peace! You've literally watched unprecedented gestures toward peace in the last year and a half from both Nork and Souk. Even the most jaded ------- would have to admit that. Google it and be amazed. Yet, you call them glorified marketing slogans.

You're nothing more than a partisan hack.

And you're nothing but ignorant of history.

NK does this every few years. They're always lying.

But the con man is as ignorant of history as you are.

Yeah, North Korean leaders enter South Korea every few years. Preliminary discussion to convert the Korean Armistice agreement to a full peace treaty happened twice last week. The Panmunjom Declaration has happened at least seven times.

Your ignorance is what happens when CNN is your gatekeeper of information. Fortunately, you've been provided a unique opportunity for personal growth. Get yourself up to speed, and I will accept your humble apology.

Howbout you do that first.

Look up all the things trump has said he was successful with, and then what happened to those things when the media spotlight went away.

Start with the Carrier manufacturing jobs he "saved."

You aren't changing the subject. Did you come up with all the times NK and SK does this every few years, since you were so sure of yourself a few hours ago? Acknowledge your ignorance, or abandon the thread.

"Yeah, North Korean leaders enter South Korea every few years."

That was indeed impressive.

But, I attribute that to the strong desire of the Korean People to end the war and end the painful separation and suffering of their country and families.

"All the Times North Korea Promised to Denuclearize"

I didn't say de-nuclearization. I said unprecedented steps toward peace. I challenged your idiotic assertion that positive gains were non-existent.

That was indeed impressive.

But, I attribute that to the strong desire of the Korean People to end the war and end the painful separation and suffering of their country and families.

Now we've gone from "non-existent positive gains" to "I guess there are positive gains, but it's all because of the Koreans." I agree with that statement and it's good to see you coming around. When I said Trump has loose ends to tie up, it is obvious that America is deeply involved in the region and we will have to be involved in the process as the Koreans move toward peace. I never said that Trump was responsible for the process, and he isn't. But he has been more amenable to the process than any president in the last twenty years, and that's a good thing.
