According to many righties here, hacked emails of Party apparatchik is a good thing, and they are likely grateful for the light of day which will be shown on them.

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

Somebody hacked the DNC but why did they not have "hacking defense" like the RNC has and why have they not responded to the terrible......
5:27 AM - 4 Jan 2017

Sure, Jan:

The hack was first detected by an MSSP, a managed security services provider that monitors the NRCC's network. The MSSP informed NRCC officials and they, in turn, alerted Crowdstrike, a well-known cybersecurity firm that had already been retained by the NRCC.

Like other major committees, the NRCC also had security procedures in place before the election cycle began to try to limit the amount of information that could be exposed to a potential hacker. It also employed a full-time cybersecurity employee.

SPEAK

"Maybe NOW trump will suddenly want to do something about hackers."

Don't kid yourself. He'll just blame Hillary because "she lost an election she should have won." Then after repeating that about 10 times, he'll throw in Obama's name like it's an obvious conclusion

IKR Crowd Strike... Where are all the Righties who demonized and doubted them over Democratic hacks? As I said then - they have an impeccable reputation in IT security. I recall some people foo-fooing that then. Are they here today? I mean years later and the GOP uses them in a similar case? It's funny those emails haven't seen the light of day. Wonder if the FBI has their hands on the "server"... LMAO...

Security is only as good as the weakest link. That is people 99% of the time. If I had to guess - weak passwords and no 2-factor authentication. GOP is better at Security - ya right.
