I remember him from Herbie Rides Again and The Cat From Outer Space. Didn't know he was even still around. Seemed like a decent bloke. He reminded me a little of Bill Bixby.

Edward Everett Horton played Chief Roaring Chicken.

But the real chick was Melody Patterson... especially to 13 year old boys.

As it turns out there was a reason for that: she lied about her age when she was hired, she wasn't 18, but 15!

No wonder he was so rubber-legged.
RIP Ken Berry

He also won an Oscar for the unforgetable masterpiece The Cat from Outer Space.
