Michael Avenatti sued Donald Trump for defaming Stormy Daniels against her wishes, Daniels told The Daily Beast in a statement on Wednesday. Avenatti also started a new fundraising site to raise money for her legal defense fund without telling her, Daniels said.

And the beat (down) continues...

In all seriousness, the main reason that Stormy is turning on Avenatti is that this is the only way that she can avoid having judgement for attorneys fees entered against her in that case, which Avenatti lost on an Anti-SLAPP motion last month.

They truly deserve each other.

He will be hawking non-stick smokeless grills at 4:00am, and she will still be swinging those pasties for the American Legion on Friday nights, all to pay for Trump's legal fees.

What? No lefty snark? C'mon, this was your hero a few months ago! Remember how he was gonna bring down Trump and Kavanaugh? Remember how you guys fawned all over him? We do.

I gotta say, Avenatti doesn't look good. But then again, none of this really means much in regard to whether Trump paid hush money to a stripper as damage control for his presidential bid. Because he obviously did.

Trump's new attorney general was hawking time-travel cryptocurrencies, bigfoot dolls, and toilets for dudes with long dicks only a few months ago. And his company was shut down for fraud.

You sure you want to go there?

"Matthew Whitaker was also a cartoonish, grifting dope"

That's excellent writing right there.

Back on topic, having seen Avenatti in action, that description of Whitaker also applies to Avenatti in spades.

Just here waiting for one of the trump chumps to say "creepy porn lawyer" as they've been brainwashed to do, without realizing that makes trump a creepy porn president.

Avenatti isn't about to be exposed as a russian collaborator, a traitor and an all around stupid SOB about to get caught by his own lies. Avenatti managed to put trump and cohen out on front street...that's gotta hurt, hearing about the prostitute that spanked trump's ass. Avenatti got that story out to the public. Avenatti may never be president..but then, neither will trump.

Do you think donald trump would rather have Cohen or Avenatti as his lawyer?

Lawyers for Trump stated Saturday that he "does not, and will not, contest [Daniels's] assertion" that the settlement agreement is invalid, according to a document filed with the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. The lawyers promised that Trump "will not bring any action, proceeding or claim" against Daniels to enforce the terms of the contract......

The two sides are due in a Los Angeles federal court on Sept. 24 for a scheduling conference in the NDA case. Daniels's suit is under a stay because of a federal investigation into Cohen's businesses, which led to him pleading guilty to eight charges last month and to say he acted at Trump's direction when he arranged hush-money payments to two women before the 2016 election.

So a woman has a one night stand with a billionaire and gets paid big bucks to keep her mouth shut. She violates that contract and makes it news. She is a porn star, known to do about anything for about 1000 an hour. I imagine if the subject of this was Bill Clinton, she would already have been suicided.

"I imagine if the subject of this was Bill Clinton, she would already have been suicided."

Great. A veiled reference to Vince Foster.

Do you realize how idiotic you sound? At least three investigations, TWO of them lead by Republicans, concluded VF committed suicide. His own sister is on record saying the moment she heard of his death, she knew it was by his own hand.

Now you come along and smear someone, just because you're ignorant of the truth and don't care to learn.

As soon as I read Stormy had been arrested during her "Pink Taco" tour, I knew Avenatti was stringing her along. Guess what? I was right. As soon as that story hit the wires, Avenatti announced his "candidacy" for POTUS 2020. He'll be selling insurance for Geico soon enough.

He knows what's true, it's just that what he wants to happen can't be achieved with the truth so he pushes lies. His means are justified by his ends in his opinion.

If the subject was bill clinton, repubs would have impeached him already.

But trump gave tax cuts to billionaires, so repubs dont care what he does.

#14 | Posted by Danforth Actually I was thinking of all those people in Arkansas who managed to put two bullets in the back of their head committing suicide. The question about VF was who moved his body.

Do you have any idea how much money they both made off this?

Losing the defamation lawsuit on anti-slapp, rather than on it being untrue, is pretty meaningless at this point.

"Check out the case of Suzanne Coleman..." - #21 | Posted by docnjo at 2018-11-30 03:24 PM

At the time of Susan Coleman's suicide, Bill Clinton was her law professor. In 1992 an overzealous supporter of George Bush hired investigators to probe this girl's 1977 suicide, and they found no evidence that she and Clinton had an affair. It was an old rumor and a baseless one, and even a determined attempt at muckraking turned up nothing to substantiate it.

No. He's a useful idiot for Conservatives who will believe anything they tell him.

After all the investigations into Hillary and Bill, still no actual evidence of criminal activity has ever surfaced. Trump even has the FBI and DOJ...and still nothing.

Docnjo will simply believe absolutely anything.
