I am sorry for all the families of the crew. I do question though, why did the government of Argentina feel the need to operate a submarine? Did they think it gave their nation greater national security? What purpose was served risking the lives of those sailors?

They need them to fight off the Royal Navy if they go after the Falklands again.

A tragic loss of life, for sure.

However, with a proto-fascist government being elected in Brazil (their northern neighbor) it might have been a prudent investment.

How does a submarine IM-plode?

Implode, opposite of explode. Actually the water pressure overcame the structural integrity of the hull and crushed it like you would crush an empty beer can.

#1,

Danni,

Why do you think all countries are benevolent? You have to think that and you have to think that no country would ever invade another, which is folly. They did it for self defense, a right all countries have.

Fool. You don't know the difference between need and foolish pride.

"Why do you think all countries are benevolent?"

Whenever did I ever say that? How about never.
