The counting is over. Now, the recounting begins. More than three days after the polls closed in Florida, the secretary of state announced on Saturday afternoon that the razor-thin races for governor, senator and agriculture commissioner will be reviewed in a series of recounts.

The GOP has a slight edge because they have been openly perfecting cheating techniques for 18 years, focused in Florida. Its one of the reason exit polls have become so unreliable. Or is it the other way around? I've mentioned several of them. Another Republican practice is to use Republicans to judge whether provisional ballot signatures match the one on file in their "targeted districts" even if the voter is fifty years older than the original signature. They then discard any and all "mismatches". Democrats control voting in 26 States now, Republicans still control 24. No State is more important to Republican rule than Florida. Cheating is best conducted at the edges to prevent exposure. With return of former felon voting to Florida, this is their last big chance.

Remember when Brett Kavanaugh led the frat-boy riots during the recount in Florida in 2000? Shouldn't the Democrats now be organizing busloads of new Freedom Riders to Florida and Georgia to protest the systemic suppression of black voters? Or would that lower the party's stock value in the "market of bipartisanship"? Where's George Soros when you really need him?
Florida voters approved Amendment 9, which banned both offshore oil drilling and indoor vaping.(Jeffry St Clair)
