Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Fueled by Trump tweets and unfounded claims of voter fraud, dozens of protesters gathered outside the Broward County elections headquarters Friday in a rowdy scene that led staff to call police for protection.

I think unrest is only going to grow. I'm not gonna pretend every act of resistance will be well-behaved either. People are fed up with the lies, hatred and repression of the scum in charge. Revolution isn't tidy.

"I think unrest is only going to grow."

Just like mass shootings.

Trump has all his surrogates in Florida fired up and believing they are once again the victims. I hate to think what will happen if they clash with a fired-up group from the other side.

There are 1.2 million convicted felons in Florida who will be free to vote next election cycle. That is sure to change the color of the State. In the meantime generating fake felon matches, sending address confirmation notices to college students in the summer, engineering long lines in poor democratic districts with insufficient quantities of inferior equipment, Republicans are squeaking out important victories.

"Republicans are squeaking out important victories."

A couple, yes. But to hear Trump tell it, that Blue Wave ran into his Red Sea Wall.

I guess he has to take his scraps where he finds them. A little bit can seem like a lot when he's on the verge of losing everything.

I'm on pins and needles waiting for the new House Intel Committee to start working in tandem with the Mueller investigation.

Oh Happy Day!

Revolution isn't tidy.

It also doesn't start or end in a voting booth.

Chris Murphy @ChrisMurphyCT

As a CEO, Rick Scott oversaw a multi-billion dollar Medicare fraud - the biggest in American history resulting in 14 felonies and a $1.7 billion fine.

What makes you think that as Governor, he wouldn't steal a few thousand votes by shutting down the count?

Because to go south, you have to travel north. That means once you get north of the I-4 corridor, you're in deep south territory.
