Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Tuesday, November 06, 2018

At his final stop of the night in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Trump also brought on stage three conservative superstars, radio host Rush Limbaugh and Fox News personalities Sean Hannity and Jeanine Pirro. Trump taped an exclusive interview with Hannity's show on Fox News right before he went on stage, where Limbaugh, a Missouri native, introduced the president ... Trump called Hannity up on stage, where the conservative talk show host wasted no time disparaging the journalists covering the rally as "fake news" and repeating Trump's midterm campaign slogan.

I don't remember CNN or MSNBC ever doing this....

But Fox does it nearly every election.

Fake News should be Trump's campaign slogan.

He's full of it, and he constantly accuses other of it.

Yeah in trump's world, not repeating trump's lies and propaganda means you're stumping for his opponents.

Meanwhile, CNN is STILL covering each of trump's campaign rallies as if it's news, and reporting on the migrants as if they're a real issue and not a campaign stunt.

How many PBS anchors have stood on a stage with a Democrat at a campaign rally and called other outlets fake news?

The false equivalence we see from people like you daily is intellectually embarrassing. Virtually every post i write here is explaining something that should go without saying, but there are so many people who play dumb 24/7. Or maybe you're not playing.

Trump supporters are not playing dumb. They're actually dumb. And they think being dumb is a virtue.

Corporate media is leftist media now. Add to the networks social media : Google, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, etc.

You should be happy. The left has taken over the culture:broadcast, print, entertainment, academia, etc. And yet, it hasn't translated into votes.

That's why 2016 was so shocking, even to me. You had everything, and still lost.

Yeah that's why CNN is still covering every rally trump holds, right? Instead of covering the ways he's destroying the environment or traumatizing children, they give him free air time to spout lie after lie. Because they're so "leftist"

Is fox news not "corporate?"

Reporting facts is not stumping for Democrats.

And you don't see CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC or NBC out with candidates on the roads, at rallies, on stage cheering them on.

You two aren't smart enough to be here if you can't tell the difference.

Feel free to argue that certain news media are slanted to the left, but equating biased news coverage with joining Trump onstage at a campaign rally is laughably ill-informed. This is a whole new level of inappropriateness for a news network. And then bashing the "fake news" in the room is simply surreal in its irony. Hannity the Hack has learned well from his hero, the master of projection.

Why do you think that it is unethical for a media outlet to push a particular candidate?
The media has been lining up behind candidates for as long as I can remember. It's nothing new. Are your feelings hurt because instead of just printing a recommendation of one candidate over another, they're doing it in person?
