Mitt Romney finally drops to his knees for "The Donald"

Trump probably made Romney use the same kneepads he used in Helsinki with Putin.

Pathetic

SENTINEL

"Who is this Romney guy?"

That depends on which way the wind is blowing. However, in a nutshell, if you are you are one the 47%-ers who make up half of the populations of the U.S., he's the guy who thinks you are 1) too stupid to know you're being duped, or 2) no longer useful after you've been duped, or 3) a loser who can't afford a car elevator, or 4) any man, woman, or child of any political stripe who thinks that health insurance is a necessity, or 5) a amnesiac who doesn't remember his reign of destruction of the working class when he was the CEO of Bain Capital (a corporate raider) and sent entire companies (and sometimes whole towns) to their doom without a scintilla of conscience or afterthought.

He's also an elitist who, if not running for office, wouldn't be caught dead in your neighborhood.

PINCH

"Pathetic."

Also, desperate, unethical, greedy, empty shell, shallow, narcissistic, deceitful, wishy-washy, and totally lacking in empathy and conscience whose like-minded wife has been measuring the curtains in the Oval Office for years.

IOW, he's a Republican.

It's now the party of Donald Trump. If you want to stay an R you've got to kiss the appropriate part.

It says a lot about the republican rank and file that they elect such spinless cowards as their leaders.

"Sooner or later, every Republican bends the knee to God-Emperor Trump"

You don't see Democrats kissing his ass.

The Democrats should kick his ass out of the party.

I agree with Pinch, while Mittens was very careful in his criticisms to never say he was Never Trump, if Trump had lost he would have hitched his wagon to their bandwagon.

Romney might not have used the words "never Trump" to describe himself, but that sentiment was very clear in this 2016 speech:

That was the speech I was thinking of.

Politicians of all stripes suck for exactly this reason.

if you compare trump and romney..and if you could quantify evil..if you had a metric that would measure the degree of duplicity..if you had an empathy meter..if you had a total of the lies they've told. trump wouldn't be shown to be a better person but i don't think he'd prove to be the hypocrite that romney is

Romney has learned that flat-out lying appeals to Trumpublicans.

So the article is insinuating that politicians flip flop in order to cater to constituents? If you didn't know this by now and you are older than 18 years, or you are a person who uses this as partisan ammunition and ignore your own party's politicians who do the same thing...please leave politics and please for the sake of the country NEVER vote.
