Wouldn't it be nice to get rid of the most despised person in Congress? Spend it wisely sir.

Polling doesn't look good for Beto at the moment, but i'm still hoping he can pull it off.

If not, this money is being put to good use laying the groundwork for what will very soon be a battleground state.

It is really sad that his poll numbers aren't higher considering that most of the voters will be affected by the decisions made in the next two years concerning their own welfare. Why do conservative, working class voters continue to vote against their own best interests? It seems they are determined to express their racism regardless of the actual cost to their own lives.

Very impressive, too bad the Texicans love Lyin Ted so much. Maybe he can use that money to run for Congress in 2020.

Rob O'Rourke is white.

Not even saying he would be a particularly good president, but the bar is quite low in that regard and i think he'd be a very appealing candidate.

Rob is white, and pretends to be hispanic.
Raphael is hispanic, and pretends to be white.
All because of the districts they run in.

It's hilarious.

#2 - Texas polls have a definite far-right bias for assorted reasons. And not to be taken seriously.

Beto wins by 10 points or more.

Cruz's district being...the state of Texas?

Raphael raises his funds in the very rich, very white parts of Houston and Dallas. They liked him more than Kay Bailey.

Nulli checked to see whether the kid 'Beto could stay on his lawn or not. He gets to stay.

ummmm over 1.5 million Californians moved from California to Texas since last year. California has been losing businesses moving to Texas and Arizona en mass.

The hatred toward Democrats driving California to it's own destruction pours into the Texas borders everyday.

Gangs and Border violence is nothing new to Texas. MS-13 and the Zetas are old news to us.

So Beto opens his mouth and says he will open the borders and disband ICE was not very bright move down here...

But to kick out Ted out of the restaurant...

That was the Democratic kiss of death.....

Also more Democratic Soros backed ANTIFA violence please...

Hillary and Maxine are right...that stuff never gets old.

One of the ads running is funny as hell. It's Beto explaining to a bunch of old Mexican ladies why eminent domain to seize their homes, which will ethnically cleansed their neighborhoods, is necessary for development.

It goes on to allege that Betos wifes family made money off of it.

The reality is that project fell apart. Beto got to make an ass out of himself and nobody made any money off of it.

Beto should run ads of Trump tearing Cruz apart during the 2016 Republican primaries.

He should run them nonstop.

I predict O'Rourke will lose. With a jack-ass like Ted Cruz running against him he does not stand a chance. You can't stop Texans from being Texans. (Which is why I choose not to be anywhere in the State of Texas.)

Of course Beto is going to lose. He could not even take the lead when Ted Cruz was not campaigning at all. Now its +7 raphael, just from a few attack ads and sign spam.

Whether or not he wins, the fundraising is impressive and should be a model for future liberals,

separating themselves from corporate dems.

From your link: it's not that's --------, it's that he was called out for it, backed down, and was unsuccessful in the scheme.

There's no mention that the claims had been refuted, Corky.

#19 its half bs. He is on camera defending the program to old mexican women. The program failed before anybody could profit. Thats what makes it funny instead of sad.

The other day you wanted to take money out of politics.
Today you want more money in politics.
What will it be tomorrow?

- The other day you wanted to take money out of politics.

That's right. Corporate money, lobbyists, Super Pacs, dark money.

Like I said, "separating themselves from corporate dems."

But you already knew that. Poser.

Money is fungible.

#27 | Posted by snoofy at 2018-10-13 08:02 PM | Reply

But it's no surprise you've chosen the lesser evil, allowing just the private money you approve of in politics.

I support public finance of campaigns. Because they are public servants. Private money should not be allowed into the public realm. All private money.

#28 | Posted by snoofy at 2018-10-13 08:09 PM | Reply

Snoofy the political puritan and not the advocate of the lesser evil? lol

#29 | Posted by sitzkrieg at 2018-10-13 10:07 PM | Reply

I favor it.

It doesn't mean it finds any purchase in the political landscape.

It just means I favor it.

As a libertarian, you ought to understand what I'm talking about.

As a "libertarian" troll, I can see why you'd pretend you don't.
