US President Donald Trump will host one of his most famous fans at the White House, musician Kanye West, to talk about prisons, jobs and what to do about violence in Chicago, the White House said on Tuesday. Kanye will have lunch with the Republican president and also meet with Trump adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner on Thursday. "Topics of discussions will include manufacturing resurgence in America, prison reform, how to prevent gang violence, and what can be done to reduce violence in Chicago," White House spokesperson Sarah Sanders said in a statement. Speaking to reporters on the White House lawn, Trump said West was a "terrific guy."

As the GREAT Subcontinental Muslim poet, Mirza Ghalib, observed....

I went looking for just one... And found a thousand!)

This is where all the righties who say Taylor Swift should stay out of politics will cheer on Kanye.

Celebrities should shut up and sing, dance, act, throw a football, whatever.

And you better get outside and tell those kids to "get off my front lawn!"

Why do people in other walks of life, like all of us who post here, think we should express our opinions freely but celebrities shouldn't have the exact same right?

Have fun BOAZ! I hope you like your steak burnt into clean coal and smothered in ketchup.

"the exact same right?"

Is it the exact same right?

You're on an anonymous blog. Kanye is having lunch with Trump.

Does that sound like the same thing?

Taylor Swift endorses a candidate and it's big news.

That's the same as your freedom of expression?

1. Celebrities are welcome to have all kinds of opinions as long as they are not pretending to be brain surgeons or rocket scientists.

2. We do not influence tens of thousands of people with a single tweet.

3. Anyone named KANYE has the brains of a turnip and is not capable of an informed opinion. For example, there is another Turnip running around thinking Kim of Norkistan "is my friend".

They are know-nothings with big megaphones, qualified to talk about the music industry. There are many posters here with more knowledge of politics, political philosophy, history, economics, etc., than those airheads. I'd love to debate Taylor Swift. I would go on one of my rants about Marxism and she would reply "I don't know anyone that doesn't love Groucho Marx. So funny! giggles"

CNN Panel Mocks Kanye West as Trump's ‘Token Negro,' Don Lemon Laughs (Video) - www.thewrap.com

"A CNN panel hosted by anchor Don Lemon took turns lacing into Kanye West on Tuesday evening, joking that his embrace of President Donald Trump has caused him to be tokenized. Several referred to him using the term "negro."

"He's an attention whore, like the president. He's all of a sudden now the model spokesperson. He's the token negro of the Trump administration," said CNN contributor Tara Setmeyer."

Sounds like Tara was speaking her mind without being politically correct.
MAGA!
