Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Tuesday, October 09, 2018

National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) has filed a Complaint with the Federal Election Commission alleging that Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) violated federal election law in a transaction related to her so-called slate mailer earlier this year. Former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, who was running for Governor in the Democratic primary, was included on the mailer for a fee of $25,000. His campaign did not pay. Instead, a group called "Families and Teachers for Antonio" did. (Villaraigosa lost the primary to California Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom.)

I think it is great that both sides spend the effort to keep the other side honest by pointing out alleged violations of regulations.

Good regulations and good goverance are critical to good government.

Maxine Waters Named Most Corrupt Member of Congress 4 Times & Passed Just 3 Bills.

Mrs Waters is close to 80, She might want to fade away. She has drawn a lot of attention to her self. Some might ask how she amassed millions including a 4 million dollar house, worth about 500 thousand in Dallas, but I digress. The home and the improvements she has made to it far exceed her pay. Her husband was a banker, but he was not that well paid, it being a small community bank and that bank getting big bucks during the 08 crash, one of her many scandals. When sending out a message, be sure the one bringing it has some credibility.
