"Aryan princess"?

Are you suggesting there's something wrong with her skin tone or hair color?

Taylor Swift's new social network for Swifties is already overrun with Trump-supporting homophobes
www.avclub.com

Taylor Swift launched The Swift Life, a social media app meant to act as an oasis from the tumultuous, politics-laden world of the internet, a place where fans of Taylor Swift could peaceably discuss and fawn over their favorite thing: Taylor Swift.

Unfortunately, as The Daily Beast reports, that dream died a mere 48 hours after its inception, when Trump supporters and outspoken homophobes invaded the app, as is the fate of all social networks, ever.

I'm surprised it took the haters 48 hours and not 48 minutes.

Donald Trump Likes Taylor Swift's Music '25 Percent Less' After Democrat Endorsement
www.rollingstone.com

The president fielded a question on Swift's stance upon his return to the White House Monday. "I'm sure Taylor Swift doesn't know anything about [Blackburn]," Trump said, adding, "I like Taylor's music about 25 percent less now, OK?"

Trump isn't the only person disappointed in Swift's Democratic support; the singer also said she'd vote Jim Cooper for the House of Representatives.

Fellow Republicans, conservative pundits and white nationalists have all spoken outagainst Swift following her support of human rights, LGBQT rights and the end of systemic racism.

"For a lot of us, we may never find a candidate or party with whom we agree 100% on every issue, but we have to vote anyway," Swift wrote to her 112 million Instagram followers.

"So many intelligent, thoughtful, self-possessed people have turned 18 in the past two years and now have the right and privilege to make their vote count.

But first you need to register, which is quick and easy to do. October 9th is the LAST DAY to register to vote in the state of TN.

Go to vote.org and you can find all the info. Happy Voting!"

Trump and his brigade of bigots now hate Taylor Swift.

And it's hilarious that Trump is telling Swift she doesn't know anything about politics when the whole world can clearly see Trump is a total moron.

I'm sure they are excited to get the all-important Taylor Swift endorsement. This could be a game changer.

You're probably right.

It's hard to compete against Trump's endorsements from white supremacists and neo-Nazis.

It's funny to watch the left put Swift on a pedestal after she was relentlessly pilloried for trying to be apolitical - not for taking a stance the left disagreed with or endorsing a candidate they despised, but for refusing to comment at all.

Wrong, she was not "relentlessly pilloried" ...

www.rollingstone.com

Taylor Swift -- who started her career in country music three years after the Dixie Chicks were driven off airwaves for taking a stand against the Iraq invasion -- has always been careful not to talk politics.

It was the Dixie Chicks who were relentlessly pilloried by right-wingers and Fox News.

The "Dixie Chicks" were absolutely pilloried for taking a political stance. Taylor Swift was pilloried for refusing to take a political stance.

Taylor Swift Political Instagram Post Brings Spike In Voter Registration
abc7.com

Voting registrations nationwide and in Tennessee have significantly increased just a day after singer Taylor Swift posted a rare political Instagram post.

According to Vote.org on Monday, nationwide, there have been 51,308 new registrations in the past 24 hours.

It also saw a general spike in website traffic in the last 24 hours, with 155,940 unique visitors.

In the state of Tennessee, 2,811 registrations from September increased to 3,582 in October so far, and 2,144 of those were in the last 36 hours, according to the website.

The climb in registration numbers comes after Swift posted her political opinion on Instagram Sunday.

Pinch says it was the Dixie Chicks because it was the Dixie Chicks who were pilloried for their views. Now, let's all look back and consider, were they right? Of course they were right but the Right has a tendency to pillory today, then reality hits, then continue pillorying just because they are idiots. They still haven't forgiven many artists for being against the Vietnam War and it is quite obvious to any honest observer that the Right was wrong about that war, as they have been wrong about just about everything ever since. They never admit it but it becomes so obvious that they just stop talking about it.
The Right is wrong 100% of the time. If you are on the Right realize that in 5 years evey you will realize you are wrong. The Right is ALWAYS wrong because it is driven by hatred and fear not logic and thought. Look at yourselves in the mirror and realize one salient fact, you are looking at an idiot.

I love how the snowflakes are burning their Swift CD's because of this.

Nevermind that she already has their money and doesn't give a ---- about their protests.

Kind of like the morons burning their NIKE products that they paid for over the Kap campaign that boosted NIKE sales 31%.

Nevermind they could donate these things to organizations that help the needy, but their butthurt selfishness gets in the way of doing good.

"Taylor Swift is a brilliant songwriter and businesswoman, but, like most celebrities, she is utterly ignorant when it comes to politics and public policy. Her Instagram post merely parroted Democratic Party talking points. Tyler O'Neil unravels her distortions of Marsha Blackburn's record in a post titled "Three Lies Taylor Swift Told About Marsha Blackburn." Naturally, Swift's tirade focused on LGBTQAPZV "rights," "systemic racism," and, of course, "women." (Not Marsha Blackburn, but, you know, "women.") What we might call 21st century celebrity issues. Nothing on putting millions of people back to work, reducing barriers to economic growth, asserting American interests in foreign policy, and so on. For reasons that are obscure to me, celebrities don't care about what used to be the core political issues. Probably because they are rich and don't have to worry about things like unemployment and wage growth."

The President seemed to care an awful lot.

That is why her endorsement became news. If he hadn't felt the need to highlight it most of us outside of her immediate fan base would never have heard of it.

Baloney. This was a front page story on CNN and on "liberal" blogs before Trump responded to it.
