NEW YORK (AP) -- Now that Beyonce and Jay-Z are off the road, another power couple is taking their place: Hillary and Bill Clinton. The Clintons announced Monday they will visit four cities in 2018 and nine in 2019 across North America in a series of conversations dubbed "An Evening with President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton." It is being produced by tour promoter Live Nation, the company behind Michelle Obama's massive tour to promote her new book as well as tours for Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars. The couple will hold joint conversations at the shows and share "stories and inspiring anecdotes that shaped their historic careers in public service, while also discussing issues of the day and looking toward the future," Live Nation said.

Leaders of The Resistance! Guessing that "conversation" won't include anything about Bill's "record" with women.

I hear that they are going to play this "music" video in the background:

Cool, I may actually go to this to see the mayhem. As long as ticket prices aren't ridiculous

What happened to the Clinton Foundation?

Do you mean why did donations drop precipitously by $50M after 2016, why is the FBI now investigating it for "pay to play" or why did they just have a $100,000 per table fundraiser in May to try to revive their flagging fortunes?

The Clintons partied like it was 2015 on Thursday night, hosting a $100,000-a-table star-studded gala designed to relaunch their troubled family charity.

Sting and Shaggy performed together on stage, Jon Bon Jovi introduced Bill and the audience included millionaires and Hillary super-fans who got in line for selfies.

On offer at a post-dinner auction was a trip to the Caribbean with Bill - or chardonnay with Hillary.

It was an echo of the charity's golden years, before an intense focus on it during Hillary's losing run for the presidency, and now an active FBI investigation into whether it was part of a pay-to-play scheme while she was secretary of state, made it a lightning rod for controversy.

I think it's funny how Hillary is taking top bill on the marquee.

Like when Tina booted Ike. Or when it became, Dianna Ross and the Supremes.

No, I just wondered why you implied it was gone.

Sorry, that wasn't my intent, I should have said it was greatly diminished. My bad.

Yep... looks like it's down 23%.

Well, they haven't released any numbers since 2016, so that reported drop off was from 2015 to 2016 (they also had a drop off of $40M from 2014 to 2015). CGI laid off all its employees, and the FBI has been investigating it (focusing on pay to play out of Arkansas) for several years now.

Charity Navigator will pull its rating if they don't report 2017 soon.

All in all, not the best news for a once high flying charity.

they also had a drop off of $40M from 2014 to 2015

And Trump International Hotel in Washington revenue skyrocketed to $40M last year. Go figure.

I'm not saying you are wrong by any stretch of the imagination...but that doesn't make it right for either of them.

It does make it a sad state of affairs though.
