Senate Republicans, not the White House, set the scope of the FBI probe into sexual assault allegations against Brett Kavanaugh, including the decision not to interview the Supreme Court nominee or accuser Christine Blasey Ford, said Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

What part of a job interview is supposed to be 'fair'?
The job interviewer decided on what questions to ask and who they needed to question to determine if the interviewee was getting the job.

No you ignorant Dummkopf. They aren't supposed to meddle in an FBI investigation. Nor is the president. That has absolutely NOTHING to doi with Advising or Consenting. God people are stupid.

They didn't interfere in an FBI investigation. They directed the FBI where to perform their background check as needed to satisfy their job interview queries.

Not their place nor their authority slick. Do try again.

You can tell when Laura (and a lot of the DR Left) has nothing because she resorts to calling people stupid and telling them to "do try again."

It would be humorous if it wasn't so pathetic.

So as not to uncover any additional evidence that might corroborate the victims story. In fact, they never even interviewed the victim.

At least 40 witnesses were not interviewed.

Can you PutinSplain that too please?

Just remember: This will be termed the McConnell Rule.

Investigations of any allegations against a Democrat from now on must follow the same rules:

1. 7 Day Investigation Time Limit
2. May not interview the Accuser or Accused
3. May only interview people in the home or office when it happened

Investigation that didn't investigate anything doesn't find what it wasn't looking for.

A "Normal" FBI Background Investigation would meander where it needs to go. The people doing the hiring shouldn't worry about where it goes unless there are things they don't want exposed.

"Has nothing?"

All they HAVE is blatant evidence that repubs didn't want to find the truth. You don't limit an investigation if you want to know the truth.

All you HAVE is denial of the obvious, which makes you look dumb.

You mean they didn't want to find the truth. If justice and truth take too long, they're not worth it.

"We didn't give in to mob rule" is the strangest thing that Trump keeps repeating like McConnell, Grassley, Hatch, Cornyn and that twit Graham.

It appears that Fords documents were deliberately leaked to bring another fake investigation they have invented, and now Graham is wanting to sue Ford for her troubles too. Maybe they will discover that Democrat legislators are actually working for the Republicans?

The problem with a lawsuit against Ford...

All the witnesses would be interviewed. The Court would hear every detail. Everyone would be under oath.

And the Court would have to decide that she somehow made up this story years and years ago for absolutely no reason and then was willing to have her life destroyed to retell it in Congress.

Good luck proving that one.

#25 | Posted by Sycophant at 2018-10-08 03:26 PM | Reply

Dr. Ford could file charges. Isn't the statute of limitations still open.

Then everyone would be interviewed, hear every detail, only to have the case dismissed for lacking evidence. That is both criminal and civil courts. There isn't enough for either.

We all know what happened. The people pretending this is somehow an honorable, decent man who got slandered know how to play that game. As always, the light of truth will eventually shine, and the cockroaches who brought this upon us will scatter. You can't seem to ever get rid of the roaches, but you can at least get them out of the way once in a while. That time is coming.

Here's what I want to know:

Why was that tool from the NFL HOF wearing white gloves to handle that football caked with grease, sweat, and clogs of grass

handed to him by Drew Brees, like it was an artifact from the Ark of the Covenant?

Bitch McConnell has now come out and said that he will consider a SC confirmation in the last year of a Trump presidency.

The GOP has one set of rules for themselves and then one set for everyone else.
