Five world powers and Iran agreed late Monday to establish a financial facility in the European Union to facilitate payments for Iranian imports and exports including oil, a key move sought by Tehran following the U.S. pullout from the 2015 nuclear deal and its re-imposition of sanctions. Foreign ministers from Britain, France, Germany, Russia, China and Iran said in a joint statement that the so-called "Special Purpose Vehicle" will "assist and reassure economic operators pursuing legitimate business with Iran."

Does Trump hate the Iran deal because Obama made it or because Israel wants the US to fight another one of its enemies for them? Petty or Puppet.

Not going to happen.

The US can adjust to counter.

And the EU are a bunch of American boot lickers. They won't dare put their relationship with the US in jeopardy, Trump or no Trump.

This is just a "hey Iran... we tried buddy".

Sounds like they're setting up an Ex-IM bank. Well someone had to step up to find the target of a future proxy war

So does this mean that the Iranians will continue to abide by the Joint Agreement? Their Energy Minister just said in a speech the other day that they had built hundreds of new centrifuges that exceed the limits set by the Joint Agreement.

My guess is they won't, but only time will tell.

Let's chalk this up to one of Trump's greatest accomplishments. Just one among the largest set of Presidential accomplishments in the history of the United States and in less than two years.

I glean solace from knowing that donald is among, if not atop, the most miserable of his kind.

To understand the rise and (inevitable) fall of Donald J. Trump, it's imperative to study money laundering.
Trump's business failures and unorthodox financial behavior pushed him to the edge of the financial world. Only Deutsche Bank and some questionable characters continued to supply him with credit.
Trump created shell companies. He used pseudonyms on contracts. He filed squirrely tax returns. He started to use large amounts of cash. He purchased huge golf courses in the UK ($79 million), a Scottish estate ($12 million), a Virginia winery ($16 million) with cash, totaling $400 million since 2006.
Russian buyers purchased nearly $100 million in condos in Florida from Trump. A Russian-Canadian billionaire poured millions into a Trump property in Toronto. In 2008, a Russian oligarch paid $95 million to Trump for a Palm Beach mansion that the Russian never subsequently occupied. Trump had bought it four years before for $41 million.
In 2008, a Russian oligarch paid $95 million to Trump for a Palm Beach mansion that the Russian never occupied. Trump had bought four years before for $41 million. He made deals with Kazakh money launderers, with corrupt businesses in India, and with a shady casino operator hoping to expand his operation in Vietnam.
In 2015, federal authorities fined the already-bankrupt Trump Taj Mahal $10 million for violations of anti-money-laundering laws. In a 1998 settlement, which cost the operation over $450,000, the Taj Mahal was cited for breaking anti-money-laundering laws 106 times in only its first 18 months of operation. The list goes on and on.
These are all telltale signs of money laundering: the cash, the shell companies, the pseudonyms, the lack of transparency and due diligence.
Russian money saved Trump on several occasions when his projects were on the verge of collapse. Now that Trump has improbably failed all the way up to the White House, Russian money may well be the cause of his political demise.
During the Yeltsin period, the state attracted billions of dollars in Western aid, which it then laundered back overseas in Western bank accounts. Worse, powerful institutions in the West like the International Monetary Fund knew about the scamand tolerated it because it wanted to keep Yeltsin in power. The bagmen who transferred the $15 billion? Russian organized crime.
Vladimir Putin didn't create post-Soviet corruption or the oligarch system that perpetuates it. He adapted the system to his own purposes and for the financial benefit of his circle of friends.

"And the EU are a bunch of American boot lickers. They won't dare put their relationship with the US in jeopardy, Trump or no Trump."

As they refuse to go along with the sanctions on Iran that Trump wants to inflict and continue to carry out the terms of the Iran nuclear agreement in association with Russia and China. Trump is isolating the U.S. to a dangerous level, at the U.N. he was virtually laughed off of the podium. America is digging a hole under Trump, how deep we will dig it remains to be seen. Does anyone think the Iranians didn't enjoy watching Trump get laughed at yesterday by the entire U.N.? Of course they did.
And then his comments about Iran being a terrorist state, even as Saudi demolishes Yemen and kills thousands? They did sponsor 9-11 in case you chose to forget. The states that cause the most harm in the world are allies of the U.S. though not our NATO allies who despise those states. Neocons are destroying American foreign policy and most of them should be exiled, imprisoned or just totally ignored. John Bolton; National Security Advisor to the President; what more do you need to know?

Doesn't stop the Iranian currency from getting cheaper than the paper it's printed on.

They did sponsor 9-11 in case you chose to forget.

Saying Iran is the bad guy has absolutely nothing to do with 9-11.

OK... YOU.. DANNI... who pretends to be so concerned with women's rights...... if a woman goes to jail in Saudi, she goes to jail (for whatever crime).

If a woman goes to jail in Iran, it is standard procedure to rape her. And if she is to be executed (usually for wanting her freedom), she is gang-raped because "she'll be dead, it doesn't matter if we have a bit of fun before that".

There... THAT is your Iran for you.

Go live there if you like it so much. LOL

She sez while not being able to find "Yemen" on the map.

The only reason radical Mullahs control Iran is we murdered Iran's democratic leadership keeping the Shah in power with 60,000 SAVAK agents threatening, torturing and killing everyone that opposed the Shah. The USA installed the Shah twice, against the will of the Iranian people, because we care about Iran's oil, not its people.

JT is correct, the Mullahs are awful, but they are a consequence of ill conceived US policy. One example of the hundreds of messes we've made around the world destroying millions of innocent lives, while pretending we are going to save them.

"As they refuse to go along with the sanctions on Iran that Trump wants to inflict and continue to carry out the terms of the Iran nuclear agreement in association with Russia and China."

But Iran already released statements saying they AREN'T carrying out the terms of the agreement. Why would we ever continue to hold our end of a bargain if the other side isn't? Stop just forming opinions because one of the players involved is someone you dislike personally.

And for you America haters like Bayviking...you still resort to exaggerations that aren't true just to try to make your side look better. America destroys innocent lives? Then why do innocent lives STILL continue to pour into our country AND STILL request aid from our country AND STILL request that America help them when they need? Everything America does is not perfect and we can strive to make it better. But we can't do that when the side making the action believes it is the best thing since God and completely infallible while the other side wants to make up bogus claims and absurd exaggerations.

The funny part is you actually probably believe the "against the will of the Iranian people" line, as if you know anything what they want. If someone were to come to America and force us to use universal healthcare, someone in another country who is Liberal could say it was done with the support of the American people and a Conservative can say it was done against the will of the American people. Rarely are issues EVER as clear cut as saying an entire people agreed or disagreed with it. It's just another form of absurd exaggeration to try to make someone's argument sound more valid.

Why? Because Europe, Russia and China agree on something the Dems have been arguing for?

Honestly, your posts have become even more idiotic than usual. Did you get a bad shipment of Tin Foil Hats recently?

1. But Iran already released statements saying they AREN'T carrying out the terms of the agreement. Why would we ever continue to hold our end of a bargain if the other side isn't?
Yes...after we broke it.

2. Stop just forming opinions because one of the players involved is someone you dislike personally.
That's literally why Trump tore up the Iran agreement...

3. America destroys innocent lives? Then why do innocent lives STILL continue to pour into our country AND STILL request aid from our country AND STILL request that America help them when they need?
Still a smaller chance of an innocent life being destroyed here than where they are from. How hard is that to understand?

4. But we can't do that when the side making the action believes it is the best thing since God and completely infallible while the other side wants to make up bogus claims and absurd exaggerations.
The problem is one side is doing both. And you fall for it every...single...time... You've posted time and again that if you don't like a fact, you will disagree with it without evidence. This is why nothing can get better in our country. One side lives listens to science and one side believes whatever they choose.

5. The funny part is you actually probably believe the "against the will of the Iranian people" line, as if you know anything what they want.
Will of the people refers to the majority...which we screwed over in Iran. Stop playing games to avoid admitting we screwed up.
