I feel very badly for Paul Manafort and his wonderful family. "Justice" took a 12 year old tax case, among other things, applied tremendous pressure on him and, unlike Michael Cohen, he refused to "break" - make up stories in order to get a "deal." Such respect for a brave man!

Ok Rudy,

So who is Manafort now a cooperating witness against...and when will President Trump offer cooperation in the prosecution of this person that everyone else in his campaign leadership has now agreed to cooperate agains?

What they're missing is the time period related to the charges, the main one in the plea agreement being criminal conspiracy activity that took place up through 2017, completely covering the Trump campaign.

It's the little things the WH things we ignore, but we don't. Trump is fu%%ed.

I'd be very interested to in the truth of what occurred in the weeks leading up to, and the time of, the Republican convention.

Specifically, what transpired during the time that Mr Mannfort became candidate Trump's Campaign Director and the Republicans changed the party's platform regarding Ukraine and Russia.

Auto yes until 2020 and then you basically have Trump vs a Dem who is in line with your beliefs. Bernie or Somebody like him would have a real shot in 2020. If you have Pence on the top of the ticket you will be forced to run a moderate that you won't really like.

Maybe not. Manafort was the one who pushed Pence for VP. Trump wanted to go with Christie, but Manafort engineered a fake problem with the plane that delayed Trump in Indiana so he could spend more time with Pence. Why did Manafort want Pence? And don't forget Pence headed up Trump's transition team and stayed in contact with Manafort during that time frame. Even if Pence isn't dirty, what makes you think he will be harder to beat than Trump? He doesn't have Trump's charisma and his over the top religiosity will likely turn off some voters, especially Independents.

Rudy, if Trump is innocent, he shouldn't care how long it takes for Mueller to investigate and expose all those who did do something wrong:

Rudy Giuliani @RudyGiuliani

All developments point to no collusion. Papadopoulos testified no knowledge of collusion. Woodward, after exhaustive research, found no evidence. And "anonymous author" makes no such allegation. Why? Because the President did nothing wrong. Time to end it.

On the contrary, I would proffer that independent voters are more aware of what goes on in politics than the democrats or republican voters, for the reason that they are independent. They need to look at both sides to figure out how they would vote.

Party-line voters, on the other hand, just look for the row to vote for. I see a lot of "Vote row A" or "Vote row B."

I'd say they know less of who is on the ballot than independents.

If trump serves out his term that means america allows con men, traitors, and criminals to be president without consequence.

It's not about the next election. It's about what kinds of nation we are.

A full trump term sends the message to every kid in america that the path to success is lying, cheating, and bullying, and you don't have to know anything to be in charge.

A trump impeachment sends the message that those things will get your far, but they aren't enough to win in the long run.

Pence was a vital part of Trump's coalition and why Trump goes to church now. By himself Pence is an astounding 26% of the US population, but also a threat to every women's right to control her own destiny.

Communism and socialism remain hot button terms, wildly misunderstood by the general population, because of a systematic campaign in the mass media to discredit those concepts. In spite of the relentless war on socialism which is the basis for our education, highways, health and utility systems, most Americans support socialist systems, as long as they are explained using other terminology. The rapid rise of Bernie in the face of a concerted effort to discredit him attests to that fact.

Think about it, well at least think for once, if Manafort had and promised to provide undeniable testimony that would put Trump away do you think he would have to dump his assets as well? If he had that the Dems would be prepping him to be their candidate in 2020.

Oh the stupidity that comes from your posts.... Where to begin?

1. "If your talking about the Donald Jr meeting if he knew about it it MIGHT be construed as ATTEMPTED collusion"
Trump admitted his son met with Russian operatives specifically to get information on Hillary. That's collusion.
www.npr.org

2. "RUSSIAN Steele"
Steele isn't a Russian operative. He's British, you twit.

3. "Hillary paying RUSSIAN Steele to write the dossier which is not attempted collusion but ACTUAL collusion"
Steele was paid to use his contacts to do opposition research. That's not collusion.
The GOP paid Steele first to do the same thing. That also isn't collusion.

The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.

This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump – helped along by Aras and Emin.

What do you think is the best way to handle this information and would you be able to speak to Emin about it directly?

I can also send this info to your father via Rhona, but it is ultra sensitive so wanted to send to you first.

AVIGDORE

" Maybe Mueller has something he hasn't released yet."

If he didn't before, he does now. Manafort is the missing link that can collaborate what actually happened in Trump Tower meeting.

You should know by now that Special Counsel Mueller doesn't spring his trap (on Junior and Kushner) until he has rock solid evidence of their conspiracy. Which, incidentally, is the same evidence that Mueller can use to force the resignation of Donald Trump. (I never really considered impeachment as an option). Afterwhich will come the onslaught of other civil and federal charges that will destroy him completely.

My question all along is who will sell out whom to save themselves? Trump or his kin?

#137 | Posted by Twinpac at 2018-09-15 04:03 AM | Reply

Also, who would trust Trump, who only looks out for himself, to deliver on a pardon after he got what he wanted from Manafort.

Nobody (in his right mind).

Manafort is far from a paragon of virtue but he's not stupid. At least he knew better than to trust a habitual back stabber like Trump.

Manafort's career in the sleezy underworld of international money laundering is over, no matter what he does. If he was broke before he hooked up with Trump, he's worse off now. He's lost everything. (Maybe even his life if he crosses the Russian Mafia, and that's not hyperbole)

Everything that Trump touches dies.

No you're blinded by your love of trump's hate.

He hates who you hate, so you're willfully blind to what he is.

Wake up, Trumpers, Here's what Mitt Romney knew about Trump more than two years ago:

""Here's what I know: Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud. His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University. He's playing members of the American public for suckers: He gets a free ride to the White House, and all we get is a lousy hat."

(Mitt Romney, March 3, 2016, at the University of Utah.)

What are you Trumpers so blinded by that you are unable to see through this phony Trump?

Donald J. Trump Sr. is a crude, juvenile, foul-mouthed, malignantly narciscistic, habitual and pathological liar, phony and fraud. He possesses no moral character. He is ignorant and lazy and is incompetent for even the lowest-ranking public service at the local level. He is a rabble-rousing bully and a disgusting, miserable excuse for a human being. He is lowering the United States of America into a gutter.

And he is playing you Trumpers for suckers and fools. Why on Earth do you not see that?
