A Bronx high school teacher who admitted to performing oral sex on her 14-year-old student won't face jail time -- and she might even return to the classroom.

The sexism is even in the headline. If it were a man they'd call him a rapist.

The point of this thread is for Boaz to call this sexism.

It happens all the time with statutory cases in the news. The language the papers use always minimizes the crime when it's a woman. It's an affair, or she seduces the child. This can't be news to you.

It is. What term will you liberals change this to?

Hang on, this story might have legs:

Does Boaz call the "justice difference" between blacks and whites racism?

That would be be newsworthy!

Not to justify statutory rape.

But.

As a high school student. I remember wanting to bang my Spanish teacher. Every guy did. Spending five minutes talking to her would leave me erect. She could have suggest any kind of sexual act and I would have consented.

Which. I believe. Is why most guys are lenient towards sexual encounters between female teachers and students.

As for female students and male teachers. There's a penetration which occurs that, for most, is considered a violation. It's more cultural. But as a society. We protect our daughters, wives, mothers, women. We find the action of a man penetrating a woman to be an affront. Especially with an underage girl. It angers us.

That's my best explanation for the double standard. Take it or leave it.

For BOAZ its only sexist if it is against males and its only racist if its against whites.

Since you brought up the draft the other day as an example of double standards, you might enjoy this.

"Since you brought up the draft the other day as an example of double standards, you might enjoy this."

I brought it up to point out that men have suffered due to laws controlling their bodies with the draft more than women have due to anti-abortion laws and that it will continue to be the case until the punishment for having an abortion is execution. And to point out that Harris' argument wasn't the winner people were treating it as being.

"Typical MRA stunt...."

Today, yes. If the draft were brought back he'd probably have better standing and the argument would have more merit. Between here and there significantly less so.

Draft women, too. Make them load 155mm Howizters, drive, load, and command tanks, sit in cholera infested foxholes. Drive fuel trucks, go on sweep and clear missions and ambushes. See how many get sick upon deployment for living in filth.

It might open up diplomacy again as a first choice negotiating tool. When 35% of your deployable fighting infantry/armor/redleg troops are on profile for pneumonia, exhaustion, and battle fatigue, maybe it'll get through some of these hawks fat heads that using troops to be ready to be ambushed 24/7/365 makes them nuts.

While in WWII, the average infantryman saw 30 days of battle per 365 days. In Vietnam, Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan it's 365/365.

Stupid way to ---- up an entire generation of altruistic, poor, college-bound troops.

The machine gun, the fragmentary shell, all the way up to the atomic bomb, there have been plenty of technical attempts to "make wars so terrible that they are no longer fought." All ended up claiming millions of lives.

Variations on the same attitude brought us such charming tactics as area bombing and "housing denial raids" designed to diminish an enemy's "will to fight."

I would be really concerned about this sexism if I was a pedo, but I am not.

If you want to get in a sexism outrage lather, consider that men contribute more to SS, but because they die younger, get less paid out than women.
Why aren't the contribute rates adjusted to match contributions to payout ratio by gender?
