All that talk about locking up Hillary and so far nobody from her campaign has gone to prison just Trump's Buddies. And all this thanks to Republicans who actually believe in Law and Order.

14 days. The judge saw through the scam that is Mueller.

Still no collusion.

"Still no collusion."

Not for lack of trying. The only thing stopping Junior was his ineptitude.

"до сих пор нет сговора"

Sawdustolov still defends his President. Doesn't matter what he does, they are loyal lap dogs, if nothing else.

Maybe. Time will tell. But, 7 felons and ~35 indictments/convictions so far.

BTW-How are those Benghazi/Uranium One/ investigations going?

Has that Crooked Hillary been locked up yet?

Still no collusion.

Guess you've forgotten that Mifsud - who approached Papadopoulos about Russia wanting to contact the Trump campaign - has disappeared from the face of the Earth, just like innocent people always do when they've got nothing to hide. Papadopoulos was the FIRST known approach by a Russian agent toward a Trumper, and George was merely an errand boy for the message, which he indeed delivered to Trump and his advisors. That in and of itself IS an attempt to coordinate collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign, especially since the existence of dozens of contacts between Trumpers and Russians have been documented after that point, every single one denied by the campaign and the individuals involved oftentimes vociferously, and each and every denial turning out to be a lie. Again, just like innocent people do every day, right?

Only an imbecile would bleat "No collusion" each and every time a Trump advisor admits to committing felonies while in service of the campaign. In a sane, rational world these alone would sound alarm bells and warrant deep and invasive investigations within the group itself outside of those undertaken by law enforcement and counterintelligence agencies. Glad to know criminality and potential treason is a-ok with you as long as it's done by your political team against the other party. Mighty patriotic of you.

14 days wouldn't that be a county lockup rather than prison?

#11 | Posted by byrdman at 2018-09-08 10:13 AM | Reply

But hey, Sawdust still has Pizzagate to blame on Hillary! Also Sawdust, there's always the fallback position; Benghaaaaaaazi!!!!! You're clearly an idiot but you probably aren't quite smart enough to know that.

14 days seems awfully low. In their sentencing memo, the government said Papadopoulos was virtually useless to them, and lied to them constantly even after agreeing to cooperate and wouldn't stop lying until confronted with evidence that he was lying. They also said his lies diverted investigators away from Mifsud, a key player who has now disappeared.

This goon should have gotten two years minimum. People rot in prison for marijuana and you can lie to the FBI and only get 2 weeks?

The sentence was the judge's call. He indicated that most similar defendants get no time. He was sympathetic to his "remorse". The prosecutors were asking for more jail time because he hadn't been all that cooperative.

Most Federal "white collar" crimes have notoriously light sentences.

🙄 duh! I mean "white" is right there in the name. How many more hints does a judge need to go easy on em?

Wink wink nudge nudge!

Say no more!

I thought george was the one that was going to be the end of Trump? 2 weeks in the slammer, WOW.

Washington (CNN)Ex-Donald Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos has been sentenced to two weeks in prison for lying to investigators about his contact with individuals tied to Russia during the 2016 campaign.
